Clonlum Holiday Cottages

Nice secluded little position, great for outdoor activities, and trips into both Belfast and Dublin.

The location is beautiful,the cottage is beautiful and very clean beds were super comfortable hot tub was amazing and having a big screen tv out in back garden area was a great bonus something to watch when sitting out the back doing a barbecue or relaxing in hot tub,also cottages very secure as you could only enter through the electric gates.

We went down as a family of 5 and although the beds were comfortable there was only 2 bedrooms and it says sleeps up to 6 so there was a sofa bed out in the living area and the 2 that slept on it could not get comfortable very poor night's sleep really needs to be replaced,we also had our dog with us and didn't feel the back area was secure enough for her there was gaps at both gates and gaps in the hedges just feel you couldn't go away and leave her in the back garden as she would get out in among the other cottages

Change of location meant we were able to walk closer to the shops nearby. Pretty clean. Some useful appliances. Scenic view. Approachable and friendly staff.

The original accommodation was changed, but it came in pretty handy in another way. If we're staying for longer, we would prefer the appliances available that were useful in the other place. Like some other accommodations, it really needs better ventilation for more warmer weathers in the future. The place will need a fan or air conditioning due to global warming. Due to needing ventilation, flies were around more. Both issues meant it was less comfortable and difficult to sleep.

Cottage was of a good standard, in an excellent location for a quiet and private stay, and also had very good amenities.

There was no welcome folder for new arrivals and instructions for heating, TV, cooker etc. were not provided. These should be available on arrival at the property. Even the microwave, although workable, had no visible details on the controls. Little things like hooks on the back of doors were either broken or not provided, the kitchen sink plug was missing and had to be requested, and the water in the bathroom sink drained due to the sink plug not functioning properly and had to be fixed.

Really love cottage and surroundings. Cottage is so lovely and clean! Definitely be back!

Property was lovely. Beautifull location . The host gave us some ideas of places to visit, the opportunity to visit some child friendly locations and saw beautiful scenery. We hope to return and explore this area further.

Very clean and quiet. Accepted my two little dogs that don’t shed any hair so that’s the Most important thing for me ,the man who met us was Very nice to us.

Nothing at all. We had been travelling for days and didn’t get the code for the gates, I would have Loved a text with the code if that is possible and we will be going back.
