The property is only a few minutes away from the beach, restaurants and shops. The room and bathroom are spacious. Tasty and fresh breakfast. Quick access to the pool. The fact they have scooters and ATVs for rent. AC and fan. Posibility for an early check-in. The lobby and bar area are nice. A very nice and kimd chef, that send complementary pancakes in the first day :)

As much as we were excited to stay here, we din not feel like the property was as in the description or as they state - a "high-end hotel offering extraordinary services". First, we had the suprise to pay an extra tax that was not mentioned during the booking proces or in the description of the property. We only figured that out after realising the charged amount at check-in was higher than the one shown on booking. We asked for details and only then were told that is the service fee - 65$ for 4 nights. We would have apreciated to be informed about this before, because it considerably increased the total price we payed. This is not a legal mandatory fee as far as we we told and saw on other hotels. We did not feel like it was reasonable for the services that we received. The room needs repairs, attention and some love. The doors are hard to handle. The walls are not so clean (insects, dampness), the furniture looks old and dated, wardrobe doors creaking. We didn't have a liquid soap near the sink, we had to walk in the shower to get shower gel..the shampoo and shower gel were the same product. No other toiletries were available in the room. The bath towels and linen were not changed at all in our 4 nights staying. The cleaning only meant taking the trash out. The room design gives a bit of less privacy and lots of insects inside. Only one sunbed on the terrace for a double room. The inconvenience with breakfast is that you only get to choose one option from their menu (10 in total). Unfortunately for us, there is not an option that combines sweet and savory. Cappucinno or espresso are with aditional charge. Bread included for some options. The person that served did not speak enghlis and the communication was difficult and made us feel like she is making an effort for us. She send the chef to talk to us when we asked for a little bit of bread. They do not have a restaurant, only provide breakfast.

Super acogedor y una localización increíble. Lo mejor de todo fue el desayuno. El servicio y personal excelente :)

Pocas sábanas en la habitación pero nos resolvieron rápido. Las ventanas de los baños no cierran y entran mucho los mosquitos pero si mantienes la puerta cerrada no hay gran invonveniente

The property was like a little oasis just outside the hustle and bustle of the Main Street. It was very quiet and secluded but within just a few minutes walk of the beach, restaurants and shopping.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Takuma ! L hôtel est à taille humaine et cela change tout. La propreté est irréprochable, la literie de très bonne qualité et la décoration soignée. La piscine est à fleur de votre terrasse :) Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux, préparé avec soin par Catherine qui est un vrai rayon de soleil ! Nous avons beaucoup aimé partager avec elle sur sa passion pour l'île, elle ne vous donnera que de bons conseils ! Elle nous a également été d une grande aide pour trouver une pharmacie francophone. Nous avions loué un quad pour nous déplacer dans les environs et avoir accès aux différents restaurants et plages environnantes ! N hésitez pas car nous étions parfois seuls sur les plages un peu plus éloignées ! J'ai également réservé un massage qui a été très agréable dans l'espace qui se trouve a l arrière de l hôtel. Tout le personnel a été charmant. A noter qu'effectivement une partie des charges de l hôtel n'apparaît pas directement dans le prix sur le site, il s'affiche sur Booking lorsque l'on revient sur la réservation. Ce n'était donc pas une surprise pour nous mais cela peut surprendre. Soyez vigilants pour ne pas voir de mauvaises surprises.
