Albufeira Town Apartment With Pool by Homing

The staff working for this company have such an attitude problem, there beyond rude and ignorant. I had days before my departure would I be able to avail of a late check out willing to pay the extra price, I was told I would be notified the day before my departure when I asked it wasn’t allowed as cleaning staff would be coming in so we had to book out after 10:30 which was fine My partner left his keys in the apartment, I rang to explain the situation and asked when house keeping was due in so that I could get the keys, I was told that they didn’t know wether house keeping would be in today or the next day showing the fact they were lying , after I had ask for a late check out due to late flight, and willing to pay the money it still wasn’t allowed even when they don’t know when there staff is going to be in to clean the facilities. When someone came to open the apartment for us we were charged €40.00 to get our property back before we were allowed enter for the man to open the door for us, we got the keys and the staff member went in to the apartment and toke the drinks we had got from the fridge and was laughing putting them in his bag after charging us €40.00 to open the door he got six free beers. The smell coming out of the toilet is disgusting definitely ongoing sewage issues. The apartment is not worth the money ,the staff have no manners there as ignorant and entitled

the flat itself is great, with balcony, good location near the aldi supermarket and have good wifi and is well equipped and very comfortable

This was by far the worst check-in experience I have ever had. The property only allows key collection within a very limited time window, and any deviation comes at an extra charge — completely unreasonable. Despite having a reservation in my name and making multiple calls and sending several emails in advance to arrange key handover to another person, the agency refused to cooperate. The communication was painful, the customer service was outright rude, and nothing was resolved without unnecessary friction. On top of that, the apartment itself had a terrible smell coming from the toilet, and the elevator — serving a 6th floor flat — was out of service most of the time. Also there is no heater so the flat was cold and they also did not resolved it. I am honestly surprised that Booking.com continues to allow agencies like this on their platform. This kind of experience damages their reputation, not just the property's.
