The best unblocked view of Mount Fuji from this property. Truly mesmerizing to wake up and see Mount Fuji outside the bedroom, or shower with the view of Fuji, in fact to have our breakfast and dinner on the terrace with the view of the mountain. Very spacious accommodation with a touch of modern and traditional. Sufficient facilities, great design and comfortable.

A challenge in managing the water heater as well as portable heaters in the house as they are dependent on the gas. When we wanted to shower, we noticed the water heater was not functioning well; thus, we had to walk out of the house to reset the gas.

The view is just so magnificent and magical And the house is clean and complete with all the necessity..will be coming back here if i were going to mount fuji next time.

The view was really superb as advertised. Amenities inside were great. Try to avoid typhoon season though. We got to see Fuji-san clearly though at times the clouds and fog blocked the view. My family and I had no issues getting to location. (9 and 11yr old kids)

I would say elderly and family with kids below 6 should avoid unless you have a vehicle. The walk in is quite far about 15min from Kawaguchi Station (same for any convenience stores) and a steep slope up to the house. I had no issues, just fyi. Exterior of the house needs some minor maintenance, weed, shrub and mould removal.
