Aposentus - Arrábida Studio

It's a spacious apartment next to the shopping mall.

The sofa bed has to be changed. I was trapped between the bed and the wall when my mother wakes up middle of the night for toilet. The bed half toppled, took me a while to struggle out. And honestly, two rolls of toilet paper is not quite enough for 4 pax for 2 days.

The location was great for exploring Porto and the north of Portugal, shopping centre at the back of the building, nice size balcony, specious flat with all the required facilities in good working condition, simple and easy check in.

Nothing we can think of

No place for clothes, a small room, no space for shower things

+ Super convenient location next to highway and mall with all kinds of services + Spacious for up to 4 people (sleeping coach is comfortable) + Equipped with all basic small appliances + Good internet connection

- doesn´t have AC - mild sound proofing from highway (great sound proofing from other apartments)

We had some significant issues around check in and when we did gain access to the apartment, had issues working the small but complicated appliances. The people communicating with us via phone were helpful and kind, but it made for a frustrating and time consuming experience. The apartment is a 10 to 15 euro ride from the old city of Porto. There are 2 space heaters and no central heating for the apartment, although we were told the building is centrally heated.The mall next to the hotel is superb and has a great food court on the third floor.
