Archer Hotel Tysons

Nice hotel, great location to get around Tyson. The only issue I have and had with this hotel is the parking. There is no self parking. Valet only at $25 per day plus tips. So if you are in and out a lot in a day, this can add up quickly. Saturday it took 15 mins to get our car. The valet seems unorganized and because of the lack of self parking, I would not return. The hotel itself is nice, new, quiet and clean.

The room was immaculate. All of the staff, front desk, valet and housekeepers were pleasant and helpful. Great value and we would definitely stay again! Very little noise. For a trip to DC it is a short walk to the Metro stop.

My Husband and I had a weekend stay at the Archer Hotel for our anniversary. The location is excellent. There is a Wegman’s grocery store, coffee shop (Sunday Bakehouse) and rooftop bar (Starhill Biergarten) all in walking distance. The restaurant at the Archer Hotel has the perfect happy hour. My husband and I loved the wings w/ mambo sauce & the firecracker shrimp. The rooms were clean and equipped with Nespresso machines. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The valet service was prompt and very professional. We recommend utilizing this service during your stay for a truly luxurious feel. The fitness center was immaculate and had so many thoughtful touches from Fiji waters in the mini fridge to sweat towels and disposable head phones to use during your workout. We loved how conveniently located the hotel is to the Great Fall Park. It’s about 15 minutes from the hotel which worked out perfect for us as this was one of our main reasons for traveling to this destination. Tysons Corner is also very close. We highly recommend staying at the Archer Hotel.

We planned our son’s Bar Mitzvah weekend at the Archer, Tysons. Amie Kim was our planner at the hotel. She was attentive and always answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Amie understood my concerns with various food allergies and ensured food would be labeled. During our food tasting we met the the chef and carefully picked out items so that everyone at the event would have plenty to eat. We planned a Friday night welcome dinner in the back of AKB, a Saturday night cocktail reception and dinner with dancing in the penthouse terrace and ballroom, and a breakfast. Each event was wonderful. Our Friday night dinner was very casual. We planned for pizza, wings, other finger foods, and an open bar. For Sunday breakfast we had oatmeal, a yogurt parfait bar, and various fruits and pastries, with an omelet bar. Saturday night we hosted 120 kids and adults. We had cocktail hour on the penthouse terrace. Then everyone moved inside to the ballroom for dinner and dancing. The room and everything was perfect! The space is beautiful alone, but it was transformed amazingly into an ice hockey stadium. All of the food and drinks were tasty and there were enough options for everyone with gluten sensitivities to eat. Both Amie Kim and Andrea Mellado were wonderfully helpful during the entire planning stage and both were present to ensure everything went well. We are so so happy we chose the Archer to host such a memorable event in my child’s life.
