Best Western Colfax

Very comfortable, quiet, modernized, spacious room.

The location. It was located just a few blocks from downtown historic Colfax and right off interstate 80. It was a chain so know it would be decent until like private motels in that area can be sketchy. The coffee was excellent at breakfast.

The food at breakfast. I guess what I didn't like was its a big hotel with all the accoutriments that you need but its cookie-cutter, cheap construction.

Super clean hotel. Comfy rooms. Good location. Convenience Stores, Starbucks, Pizza shops, Taco Bell, etc very close to it.

We've stayed at lots of BW hotels in the past. Breakfast is bad compared to Best Western standards. Most of the things were broken while we stayed here (one of the waffle makers, yogurt machine, coffee machine vended out diluted coffee). There was no peanut butter, strawberry jam, bananas, or butter available. Bread had fungus on and I had to bring it to the attention of the person in charge. Except the breakfast, everything else about this hotel is good. But compared to BW standards, they are lagging significantly behind.

Clean and convenient

Service is overall great. The personnel at the front desk took care of all issues when asked.

I didn't have it but my husband said it wasn't good.

Not a whole lot

The room was gross. The floor was sticky. There was blood stains on my sheet and there was dried cheese around the refrigerator. We ended up leaving a day early because we didn’t want to stay there another night.

This property was dirty on the outside, dirty on the inside the sheets stained and look like they hadn’t been cleaning the room looks like it had been clean. I had the guy change out my sheets and he changed them out to more stained sheets. I checked for bug bugs luckily it didn’t see me but what I did see was a rat catcher and Nasty food. I couldn’t sleep there. I asked for a refund because I was only there for 45 minutes yet they said they would give me one of my pet 25 dollars. I haven’t seen with it showed good reviews in the numeric numbers. But if you look at actually everybody’s write up about it, everybody has the same disgusting and poor conditions
