Do not put the hotel address in your GPS to reach the car park since you will not be able to reach the parking then. The Ghent City center is a low emission zone. If you want to reach the hotel (and parking) it is required to register your car on the website of the city (exception for cars registered in Belgium and the Netherlands). "Fabulous location, friendly helpful staff stylish hotel and excellent location"

The stylish bedrooms, fab air con in the rooms. The layout of the bar downstairs . The rooftop bar had a great vibe.

It was particularly hot when I stayed there and the downstairs area is quite stuffy

We were thrilled with the Yalo Hotel in Gent! The location was a short walk to all the sites of Gent, shopping, and loads of wonderful restaurants. When we didn't want to venture out, the rooftop terrace was a great place for a view, drink, and snack. Our room was great, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom was good, and we loved the terrace. The hotel is also located between two tram stops that provided simple access to anything beyond, such as the main train station. If we were to find ourselves back in Gent, I would definitely book this property again!

The lighting in the sink area could be improved. The hotel provided two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge, however they were not twist off caps and the room didn't include a bottle opener.
