The Amethyst Exclusive Suites Oia

The manager really tries to do her best to keep every guest happy as much as she can but few things did not change what so ever .. doesn’t matter how many times you complain.. we paid so much extra around 700 euros for the hot tub room but it was clean or hot enough to sit and relax and more or less there is no staff after 7 pm so by the time you get back to the hotel after long day there is no service at all even front desk is closed. But manger heggie was available 24/7 on our personal leave she was so kind and nice that she gave us her personal number so we can bug her anytime and she always replied back. The hotel overall is not worst of the price we have paid not at all .

I stayed in this property on the last week of May for 3 night, clean room, good breakfast and very friendly staff, specially the manager is very nice with the guests.

CONTENT CREATORS DREAM: A place to get great content while on vacation. Away from the hustle and bustle of people. This is by far the best stay in Santorini! The staff was very helpful from the moment we walked in. Hegy, the host, was extremely encouraging of us to do specific attractions on the island that made sense financially and logistically. She was also able to set up taxis, excursions, and more. She also had great food options. Breakfast is included and prepped daily! The GREEK PANCAKES were amazing. On to the rooms: an oasis if you ask me. Truthfully the only thing I’d ask is that there be a full length mirror and a few extra seats in the room I stayed in. Other than that, this place is perfect! Bathrooms were spacious, rooms were cleaned everyday, great service! This location is very close to town! However, I would suggest renting a car for the time you’re there. It’s a lot cheaper to do it through Expedia, rather than when you’re there. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the hotel to Oia city center. I’d suggest taking the walk on days you don’t have a car or want to explore. Parking is free everywhere, FYI. Oia has great sunsets. And being poolside is a plus at this location. This property is breathtaking and should be 5 stars. We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and it was the most beautiful and relaxing time we ever had throughout our entire two weeks in Greece. The property was astonishing and brand new with many amenities. We were greeted by the owner and Hegi, she was excellent. Hegi has awesome customer service and attended to all our needs to feel comfortable. He English was great and she communicated very well with us. My daughter love her so much and cried when she was leaving. I wish I stayed longer because it felt like home. I highly recommend this property. We will definitely stay here again in the future. All Staff was very attentive to our family needs!

The property was fine and the service was good. However there were ants in our room on the ground along the walls. They sprayed for them but they came back the next day. My friends also got another room and they had ants as well. The ants got into their suitcase. We noticed ants on their suitcase at the airport. Also, there is no ventilation in the bathroom. The shower was clogged and didn’t drain property. Otherwise, the property was fine and the breakfast was good.

I loved that the hotel looked just like the pictures. It is a long walking distance (15-25 mins) from the town center of Oia. You will need a car otherwise you'll spend on taxis. It seems to be in the middle of no where, but if you stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor you'll have an ocean view. Everything was pristine. Hotel front desk answers all your questions in reasonable time. Breakfast was available, and even a lunch menu to order. Beware of the towels. They will charge you for makeup and stains.
