It was pet friendly as advertised.

Check in was a bit confusing upon arrival. Because rooms are not at check in location. Also be aware you need a $50.00 cash deposit for room. That SHOULD BE announced at booking time. Its returned on check out. It’s a cute property but needs love. Room was hot and took half the night to cool down. Not sure why the air wasn’t on in hot south Florida. As most of the reviews say the staff are awesome and made the stay.

"I don’t think I’ll come back because of infestation. Good for short stay."

The room was spacious, renovated bathroom, everything needed for short stay was available. Beautiful outside area.

Had to leave earlier because the room was infested with cockroaches.

"Good deal for my dog and I"

"Painful departure "

Just recently, I had rented a room at Richards Pet Friendly motel. In light that I have been to this same location before,I returned. This was like my 3rd or 4th time. This most recent time,when I went to rerent my room,was unable to. With no reason given. Only difference to this reservation is that I am undergoing workman's compensation, have been in much pain,wobbling all over,walking slowly as well. Though I have been to this same location before, with proof of what I have, had to leave.

"Will not recommend this place!!!"

Meh! Expensive especially on the weekend and the room rate is not equivalent to the care! The locks on some doors are inoperable. Thin, crisp towels. Not all rooms are vintage. Some better ones are giving to whom they prefer. The staff girls at night and in the day were great with the exception of one, who was loud, rude and obnoxious. The entire place needs to be upgraded to the modern world. In high season, they cater to a certain group and the locals are treated like crap!

The staff needs training especially on how to handle online booking refund and other issues. like simply referring them to the booking agent to get their money back. Certain staff was great that's all I notice. A simple smile can constitute a warm welcome.
