Location, close to the sea, far enough from the noisy center, but still has facilities nearby.

Flimsy furniture - requires renovation and fixing stuff. The kitchen is poorly equipped - there is no knife. Only dining ones. The drying rack is rusty and stains the clothes. The washing machine doesn't work. Shower heads leak. Bidet hose leaks. Doors squeak. Some shelves are missing or very flimsy. Overall a good apartment. I wouldn't put such a low score, but... I've been in this apartment two years ago. I have submitted a feedback about some things not working as expected, and you can imagine my frustration when two years after that - all those issues are still present! I've even asked the manager during the check in whether the washing machine was fixed - she had the audacity to claim that there were no complains from guests and this the washing machine should be ok. In reality the washing machine leaked lots of water when we tried to open the door. And it never turned on even I wrote to wonderful Italy WhatsApp about existing issues and they responded that they have requested the technician. But no-one shown up. After the check out i was afraid I forgot some document in the apartment and asked the cleaning person to check whether there was something left. No response since several days. The document was found, but be aware that they stop responding after the checkout.

The location is excellent, just 7 minutes walk from a very good beach. You can either rent a sunlounger + parasol (25 eur for 2 persons) or lie on your towel. City center is around 12-15 minutes walk. The area is nice and safe. Bus station is 5 minutes walk. Staff is really nice and when we locked the key inside the appartment, cleaning lady arrived within one hour to unlock it.

In the evening of our arrival we discovered that there are no bedsheet, blanket and pillow case for my 14 year old son. There was only a baby crib with baby blanket and bedsheet. My son had to sleep on a plain sofa as we got all the things only on the next day. The apartment was not well cleaned, there was sand on the floor, in the drawers and on the terrace. I asked to clean it on the next day which was done rather quickly. Although the apartment looks very nice on pictures the equipment is poor. The bed, the sofa and the toilet door squeak rather loudly. Washing mashine is either not working or not connected, kettle handle is broken, curtain rod is broken, so there are no curtains in the bedroom. Wardrobe drawers are broken and cannot be used. Clothes drier on the terrace is rusty and I partially broken. Some of these problems can easily be fixed and that would really improve the situation. Bathroom is tiny. The area is rather noisy at night, but that is probably the problem in most of Giardini Naxos. Overall ok value for money, but place needs improvement.

The apartment is located just a few minutes walk from the beach, making it a convenient and pleasant place to stay. It offers the perfect balance of being close to Naxos city center while still enjoying a peaceful and quiet street, ensuring a good night's sleep without any disturbances. Additionally, the bus stop is nearby, making it easy to explore the area. Alex, the host, was helpful and provided us with valuable information, giving us great tips on tourist attractions and activities to enjoy during our stay.

Those are minor drawbacks considering everything mentioned above. But some appliances were not in a very good shape (i.e. AC in a bedroom made some strange sounds, but there is a second AC).
