The attention from the staff was very welcoming, specially for the short notice, seeing as we had to book last minute after the one booking we had had been cancelled because of the storm

Nice simple and friendly check-in procedure even though it was very late - close to midnight. Room was clean and sufficient size. Out of season excellent choice for someone looking for somewhere quiet and convenient in Malia. However like most places I expect it will be 300% livelier in season, and possibly a bit noisy at times with a bar open until 3a.m. and plenty of other venues close by. No extra charge for fridge and security safe in room.

The only minor quibble was that the rooms have a key card which activates the power supply. Eminently sensible as the owners / hosts would not wish guests to leave the air conditioning / lights/TV on all day while the room is not occupied. However without the card all power sockets seem to be disabled - other than the fridge. That meant I could not leave a device (2nd phone) charging while I was out and as I am usually out for 12-18 hours with high mobile phone usage (I walk long distances and need to navigate) I really need two phones to use on alternate days.
