Nice small hotel (about 20 rooms) in pretty area not far from coast and dining options. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room and good breakfast.

This hotel is 5 km S of Hvergardi on Highway 1 on the Golden Circle. If you have transport its a good option on a roadtrip.
Staff were polite and helpful. Hotel surrounding is very calming. There are multiple seating areas for you to sit and relax inside the hotel. Would recommend.
Nice stay. The room had blackout curtains and they worked well. The breakfast was good. Front desk staff was very nice and courteous
This was a gem of a find! The place was a wonderful place to spend the night. I wish we had been able to spend more time there. Wonderful check-in person gave us the lay of the land. Hot tubs and sauna in the back and a rocking full breakfast in the morning. Our room was also huge with two easy chairs and a sofa.
For the price I paid it was absolutely incredible, the staff was friendly, rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Free breakfast and well maintained amenities too! Can't recommend it any more, only thing I can say is that it in the Middle of nowhere. Which isn't bad, but just expect it.

Schönes Hotel etwas außerhalb mit zwei schönen, sauberen Hot Tubs und einer Fass-Sauna. Das Personal war super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Es gab sehr gutes Frühstück.
Our stay at Hotel Kvika was great!! We had an overnight flight and were able to check into our room early to get some much needed rest. The room was small (as most European rooms are) but comfortable, and the bathroom was small but had everything you need. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast that was included was great! They also had a coffee machine available 24 hours a day with great cappuccinos and hot chocolate. The 10am out was a bit early, but we had plenty planned for our first, real day in Iceland, so it was fine. There are plenty of little nooks to sit and relax, and the sunroom was a great space to take in the view. We would 100% stay here again.
