La Colombe d'Or Hotel

Moises was amazing and made our stay so special for the birthday celebration! Every member of the staff was professional and helpful. Room service was efficient, as was the valet, etc. We loved our stay and will def be back next time we are in town!

My review is so low only based on the type of room my family rented. A “bungalow”. We spent nearly a thousand dollars a nights for a cheaply renovated old apartment. It was pitiful and should be priced at 1/4th of that cost. I do not feel it was represented remotely accurately on the website and would strongly advise against this for the price (for a significantly lower price would be worth it)

Staff was excellent - Whitaker did great getting us set up. Dinner for 7 was a 8, maybe 8.5 French onion soup was below expectations but the rest of the meal was a 9 Thanks

Gorgeous property with lots of charm! We helped celebrate a family member’s wedding and had a great little staycation all in one! Love finding hidden gems like this and happy to support them! We will be back!

An absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. Worth every penny. The staff are superb and completely customer oriented. Rooms are immaculate and so very well appointed. Romantic dinners and a fabulous bar highlighted my stay. The owners mingle with those who stay there and ensure everything is perfect. My go to place in Houston.

This is not a 5* hotel. The amenities are limited, the rooms (we tried 2) are corporate and bland, and whilst the staff tried their best they are woefully under-staffed and inexperienced. The pool is stated as available from 7.00am but is in fact closed for cleaning from 7.30am every morning.

The only thing that really disappointed us was the size of the shower. There is so much more room in the restroom to have an amazing shower.

I've stayed in high-end hotels across the world, and this hotel was a great experience. The rooms in the Tower are brand new, very nice, very clean. The beds are comfortable and the AC is powerful (needed in Houston!) and it is quiet. Food at the restaurant was delicious and quickly served. Easy trip, and I would stay there again for business or pleasure.

I spent months looking for the perfect proposal spot. This hotel was not only beautiful, modern, impeccable and incredible art everywhere (owner collects art worldwide) - it has the most caring and lovely staff. I made up a fake event to fool my partner into dressing up for what really was my proposal and they let me put up signs in the hotel and all helped pretend so the proposal went absolutely perfect! I cannot thank the staff especially Jorge, Grace and Desiree - they were so helpful with every little detail and even just helped me feel less nervous when the time came. Every little accommodation did not go unnoticed - i feel like my faith in humanity was restored (so many people helping ensure this very special moment went perfectly) The room we stayed in was also beautiful, the view at the pool PERFECT and the restaurant food and bar drinks 10/10. Now we have a perfect spot for anniversary dinners!
