Lure Hotel & Spa- Adults Only

I stayed here with friends in April for 5 days. The hotel is a very modern and of medium size and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have a WhatsApp number whereby you can call for drinks etc whilst lounging by the roof top pool. Our room although seemingly luxurious lacked any home comforts. The bathroom was not well planned, it was very dark without any counter space around the sink. The wardrobe was very small as a locked cupboard contained the electrics for the room so wasted a large amount of storage. There are no drawers and nowhere to store suitcases. The balcony however was lovely to sit on and provided large open doors for plenty of fresh air although we had a side view. The major obstacle that let this hotel down was not providing a courtesy room or actually anywhere to shower and change in private if you had a late flight. We spent the last day on the beach and the owner said we could change at the hotel however he showed us to the spa which had an open pool side shower and a toilet with a very wet floor. We had to open our cases poolside in the hot steam environment of the spa put on a swimsuit to shower then wait for the toilet to be free to get dried and dressed! Not ideal, considering the amount of money it costs to stay here per night this is not a nice ending to an otherwise lovely stay. I would not stay here again

I want to write 3 reviews! Short review Book this hotel directly without any question ! Medium Review Wow! If you are looking for a small independently run 5star hotel, you will Not be disappointed ! The restaurant is sublime no buffet here! We ate three times in the evening also Which is not normal for us to do! The hotel has just 12 rooms! you get an indoor heated pool like out of James Bond including a hamman sauna etc etc and a roof top pool not heated with a large bar and seating area perfect for Cooling down! Full Review This hotel is by far the best hotel we have stayed in ever! We say this not lightly, we have traveled well and want you to profit from this info, The hotel is run in a very personal way, from the amazing cleaners who had the biggest smiles every day before we even got to the lift to Rabi & Cheryl (aka parmigiano!) & Malcom They should feel very proud of what they are doing to make this hotel stand out above the rest! The location is perfect for exploring Malta! We used Bolt taxis a lot ! Our longest journey to Marsaskala which is basically north to the south Only cost 27 euro so i would advise not bothering with a hire car! The hotel also owns two large villas at very competitive prices for large groups ideal (same town) Finally Garrett & Stephanie (the owners) These guys are the real deal! Working every day to make your holiday the best it can be! You feel part of the family it’s great! A very big thank you to every one of all the Lure team from us! Cu in October! This hotel delivers on everything it promises on the web site. We were greeted by the lovely Rabi. He sat us down and offered us welcome drinks. Check in was efficient and Rabi then showed us to the room. (104) The room was enormous, with a large bathroom and accessible shower. The view from the balcony was lovely, onto the square with the church and out across the sea. Listening to the church bells was just so calming. We slept very well and breakfast was just wow. A selection of pastries, fruits, meats and cheeses. Delivered to the table on a tiered stand. Then a choice of hot breakfast . All the staff we met could not do enough and super friendly. The owner is also very present and works hard along with his team.

From the moment we arrived to the time that we left the stay was superb. All the staff were so friendly and Garrett, the owner was exceptional too. We had the Grand suite. It was the best hotel room that we've ever stayed in. The views were wonderful, it was quiet, the bed was so comfortable..... everything was first class. The breakfast was one of the best we've had anywhere in the world. You start with three tiers of mixed fruits, meat and cheeses and pastries. You then have a choice of a large number of cooked options or Muesli with honey and Yoghurt. The location was perfect too. Within 45 minutes of Valletta by car, 5 minutes from the ferry to Gozo and so quiet. Within easy walking distance of many excellent restaurants too.

A boutique hotel which sets the bar high! Our room was wonderful and very high spec with a huge bed and lovely high end en suite. The breakfast is great and has literally everything! Starting with a 3 tier fruit, pastries and cold cuts stand, followed by a varied choice of cooked breakfasts. We had dinner in the hotel one evening (The Core) and the food was to the same high standard and absolutely lovely. The downstairs swimming pool and steam room is amazing and so relaxing. My partner couldn't stop smiling. We briefly visited the rooftop pool which looks wonderful but didn't actually have a swim in it. The views from there are great. The staff are second to none and will do anything for you. From putting spare breakfast pastries in a carry out box, to recommending where to visit in nearby Gozo. They were great. All in all the lure should be 5 star.

Stunning, outstanding experience. We were welcomed by Rabi and the check in process was seamless. We were then showed to our room. Stunning room with a hot tub. Exceptionally clean. Everything you could need was provided including toothbrush and razor. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel with high quality and good variety. They also made small adjustments to breakfast if needed. I liked that the juices were always fresh squeezed and not from concentrate. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They also sorted out a quad experience for us which made it stress free. We had one evening meal there which was also exceptional. Garet who I think was the owner, was lovely and helpful every day - he gave great tips for travelling and had great knowledge of Malta. All public areas were very clean and had exceptional interior design. Only minor point for improvement was that the toilet roll stand was attached to the toilet cleaning brush and I wouldn’t want anything to splash from the toilet cleaning brush to the toilet roll but this is just a minor point. Don’t hesitate to book if you want a five star experience

We had the most incredible 5-night stay at Lure Hotel and Spa in Mellieha, and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. This is a true 5-star hotel, and I couldn't fault it in any way. The team were exceptional—so attentive, kind, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. A special shout-out to Garrett, Malcolm, Oumaima, and Zara, who made everything perfect, but honestly, every member of the staff we interacted with was amazing! They went the extra mile, even helping me with a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday, and provided us with great recommendations for things to do around Malta. The service truly felt personal, and the entire team is a dream team. The hotel itself is spotless, and our suite with the hot tub was nothing short of luxurious. The views were breathtaking, and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Breakfast every morning was fresh, varied, and plentiful, ensuring we were fueled up for our adventures. On top of that, my boyfriend had a massage at the spa for his birthday, and he said it was one of the best massages he has ever had. It was the perfect touch to a fantastic stay. A massive thank you to everyone at Lure Hotel & Spa! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Our first time in Malta and away for Xmas and found this amazing hotel in mellieha. Fantastic rooms and service and we have made friends for life with the owner and their family and friends. We spent Xmas eve and day with them and you must try the Harvey Wallbanger cocktail 🤣. A MUST visit and we shall return.

We had the best time over Xmas. The hotel is honestly the friendliest I have ever been to, and we have been to a lot of hotels. Garratt is amazing and we felt so at home. Zara the cleaner hugged us every time and the room was immaculate. We cannot recommend this hotel enough! We will definitely be back

Amazing. Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff are all superb - so helpful and attentive and also really friendly. We had a room with a hot tub on the terrace and didn’t want to leave it. You have to though. So many great places to explore with Melliha well located to explore the north of the island. The indoor pool with steam room is the icing on the cake (we didn’t even get round to the rooftop pool - will have to go back!).
