Lovely historic barn, super clean

The property is a stunning, original barn conversion with a beautifully restored thatched roof and modernised internally.

Th property was cold upon arrival at 6pm and took hours to heat up and still cold by the time we were going to bed. The beds require heavier duvets with a great tog during winter months.

Lovely location, well back from the road and plenty of land around the property to play ball games with the dog. The property itself was spacious and full of character and very warm. Everything was very clean and there were some lovely local treats left for us on arrival. Also plenty of tea bags and coffee pods were left. We had a lovely break and would definitely consider coming back.

Nothing really, everything was great,. A suggestion rather than a complaint: We like to keep and leave our rental properties clean, particularly as we have a Labrador dog. Whilst a vacuum and dustpan were provided, a mop and bucket and long handled broom in each property would be helpful to keep the hard floors clean. Again, just a suggestion. It did not spoil out time there which was wonderful.
