La Maison Kalogera

The location is very convenient. There are lots of restaurants and shops. It was clean and AC was working well. I gave only 4 stars because they only had one key to the room and the safe didn't work properly.

Easy to find with helpful directions provided by the owner. Keys were left in a drop box for us on arrival. Our room was clean and comfortable. Location was right in the heart of Mykonos town. Bakery across the street was helpful in the mornings. Everything was within walking distance. On our first night we lost all power and contacted the owner. After trying to help us restore power and couldn't she asked us to move into another room down the hall. It wasn't too much of a disruption and this room was more like the one in the booking anyway. Again, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend La Maison Kalogera. Just note there are several outside steps to access.

This hotel is a gem at Mykonos. Super cute. Very friendly staff and the best location, a few minutes from old port, close to restaurants, beaches, and stores. I would stay here again

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at La Maison Kalogera. While I never met a staff member in person, communication via WhatsApp was seamless and very convenient. That said, I wouldn’t describe the room as a “suite” — it felt more like a standard hotel room in terms of size, and the bathroom was quite small. I frequently bumped into the shower glass or the edge of the tile shower tray. The shower itself was a handheld nozzle rather than an overhead fixture, and due to the awkward positioning of the bar, it was difficult to shower comfortably. The balcony had a small table but no chairs, making it more decorative than functional, which was a bit disappointing. On a positive note, the building is very clean and stylish, and the location is absolutely unbeatable — right in the heart of everything. For anyone wanting to stay centrally, it’s a fantastic choice in that regard. It was advertised as having a rooftop terrace, which technically it did, but it wasn’t particularly usable. The cushions weren’t set up, and there was often laundry drying on the rack. If it’s not going to be maintained or guest-ready, it really shouldn’t be advertised as a feature. Wi-Fi worked well when I was the only one in the building, but slowed to a crawl when other guests were online, which was frustrating. While this review highlights several drawbacks, I mention them because the price of the accommodation didn’t quite match the level of service and facilities provided. I would still recommend.

Llegamos, y tuvimos que esperar una hora para poder abrir uno de los cuartos, ya que las instrucciones recibidas por correo no fueron claras y la encargada nunca dijo que la llave estaba escondida abajo de una bolsa de plástico en un cubo como de basura, uno de sus vecinos de una Store fue el que subió a ayudarnos y el que nos dijo donde estaba esa llave, cuando entramos al segundo cuarto, este olía terrible a insecticida, era imposible estar en él, tuvimos que dejar todo el equipaje y cosas personales, en una sola habitación, muy pequeña, los seis integrantes de la familia. Al día siguiente salíamos en vuelo y nos levantamos con el suficiente tiempo para poder bañarnos e irnos, y resulta que no pudimos hacerlo porque en 1/4 no había agua y en el otro no había agua caliente. En todas las situaciones tratamos de comunicarnos con la dueña, y ella o no contestaba, o lo hacía tardíamente, inclusive a hoteles.com. También le sucedió que no pudo comunicarse con ella. Aunado a que el lugar es sumamente incómodo, es muy estrecho y hay que subir una cantidad importante de escaleras y con equipaje muy grande que traíamos y personas de la tercera edad fue muy difícil la estadía ahí
