Riad Almazhar

This Riad was one of the best places we gave stayed in Morocco. Location was not too far into the medina and very easy to find. Unlike other riads in Fes and other cities, we didn't realize how deep into the medina they are located and to walk for a long time with luggage( cars are not allowed in these areas) became a struggle.We wete also only a 15min walk to the oceanside where we had a lovely seafood meal while watching the ocean tide at sunset. Aziz and Aziza were very nice easy to communicate with and guided us with any questions we had. The rooms ( we got a suite) were beautifully appointed, beds super comfortable and details like usb ports, lighting, closet space with authentic antique Morrocan furnishings set us back in time like Royalty- we even had rose petals on our bed! The bathroom was tiled in gorgeous blue green tiles and mirtors, fitted with modern yet classic features. The breakfast was a true delight as Moroccan breakfasts go but again, lovely table setting, hot coffee& tea, fresh padtries anc breads, juice etc. Al in all, I highly recommend Risd Al Mazhar for thise staying in Rabat.

Lovely riad in great location. Comfortable room with modern bath, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. We spent two nights using our Chase points and were very happy with this choice. Small riad with nice courtyard, very small terrace but too cool to spend time outdoors. Would definitely stay there again!

Felt like being at home. Absolutely as good as it gets here.

We wanted an authentic riad experience in Rabat. Accomplished! This riad is in the thick of the old medina. Not by Rue des Consuls (which is the pretty part), but in the busy authentic part. It was challenging to find, and when you leave, be prepared to enter the fray. The owner/manager(?) is lovely, as are the staff. Quiet and unassuming. Good and plentiful breakfast included. While the medina is right outside, the riad is quiet except for (short) prayer times which are broadcast through a loud speaker from the nearby mosque. As for improvements: the riad could use a good deep cleaning.

We booked the Superior King Suite. It was lovely - by far the most spacious room we stayed in during our entire trip to Morocco. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner) were included (although not the bathrobe and slippers I saw described). There was a sitting area inside the room, etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but do not speak English terribly well. They arranged a taxi for our early departure which came promptly and met us at the riad (not particularly close to a street). They also prepared a small "to-go" breakfast despite the very early hour.

Le parti comuni sono meravigliose. Le camere non sono all'altezza del Riad . Certamente un poco datate rispetto al resto . La posizione è eccellente . La colazione perfetta con prodotti locali . Peccato per le camere perché sarebbe da 10 e Lode.
