"Fantastic glamping experience amongst the alpacas"

10.0

We spent three nights in one of the lovely cabins. Everything was provided, from bedding to cutlery to fresh towels. The cosy huts are lovingly furnished. Our kids especially loved the kid's cave, smaller beds one level below the parent's bed, with their own curtains for privacy. The best part however, is that you are on the same field with the alpacas. We even got to feed them! Such a great experience for kids and adults alike. Josh and Natalie are exceptional hosts, friendly, attentive and always available for their guests. We liked the folder with ideas for things to do in the area, well prepared and exactly as described. All in all highly recommended!

Perfect location for exploring Dartmoor. Cabins were clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast hamper was great, excellent bacon. Friendly hosts and the alpacas were amazing. Would definitely recommend for families with young children.

"We loved seeing the alpacas and guinea pigs!"

7.0

Ben was very helpful, friendly and accommodating, especially as we arrived very late. The farm was beautiful and our children loved the animals. The cabin had great facilities and was very thoughtfully laid out, the outdoor decking space was fantastic.

The only issue for us was the two single beds were a bit small for our children, but that was my fault, as you did say in the booking info. I think the beds are suitable up to 8 years or so, our kids are 11 and 13. Only other thing is suggest that you have the 10am check out time written in the folder, as I looked there to try to find out when we needed to leave. We ended up having to pack and leave in a bit of a hurry.

"Amazing experience. Peaceful and relaxing, with a layer of novelty and excitement. Absolutely loved our stay and are so"

10.0

Loved the whole experience, space in the cabin is well utilised and laid out to maximise living space and everything you could need provided. Kids LOVED the lower bunks/den. Adults loved the addition of board games and sun loungers outside for a spot of stargazing. The outside shower added a layer of novelty to our stay. Peaceful location, with plenty to do in surrounding areas. Host was super welcoming and friendly.

Nothing to dislike, but a bread knife would be useful when providing a fresh loaf of bread in breakfast hamper :). And maybe some foam over the large beam under the bunk bed our children (who are complete whirlwinds) bumped their heads several times despite constant reminders to go careful!!
