Fiorenzie is a very good, friendly host. She gave us a lot of information about the area. The location is very convenient and it's a nice cosy home. I will stay here again if I go back to Genoa. I would recommend this place.

The building is aside the main street of the old harbor, but the windows of apartment are not toward the main street, therefore it is quiet in the rooms. The apartment is well equipped (including air-conditioner and fan), and the aquatic theme decoration is attractive. Vehicle must be parked into the underground garage in the opposite of the main street. The hostess provided us discount parking card for each day. The hostess was hearty. She introduced us not only the surrounding scenic points but also where we could find outstanding restaurants, where we could find overvalued delicious gelato, where were facilities for kids, where were safe and in which places we should be careful.

We have stayed in apartments all over the world. This is one of the very best. Location, decor, comfort, amenities, and check-in are all superior. The apartment building is easy to find with inexpensive parking across the street. Plenty of tourist information is available in the room in addition to the owner providing a detailed map overview of the city. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-stocked with towels and soap/shampoo, and the kitchen has everything you need to include coffee and tea. There are TVs in the living room and master bedroom. There is an elevator and handicap ramps at the entrances. A clothes washing machine and window clothes line are included. No street noise could be heard. There are two notable restaurants within 100 meters of the apartment. The Soho, a Michelin rated restaurant, where the food is masterfully prepared and presented in a very modern atmosphere. Right next to the Soho is the Trattoria Le Maschere. It is the epitome of Italian dining. Great seafood and pasta at a low price. All the historic sites of Genova are within walking distance of the apartment including plenty of inexpensive shopping. We could have stayed in this lovely apartment for months.
