10/10 recommend. I agree with all of the positive reviews so I’m going to add some details I don’t necessarily remember reading. Our stay spanned the two most popular spring break weeks (the week before and week after Easter). The hotel is on a very quiet block with little vehicle traffic. The beach access (very close walk) leads to an uncrowded area of the beach. I believe this is because there is very little public parking near the beach access. We prefer atmosphere over cuisine when eating on vacation so it was nice to have several restaurants we could walk to via the beach. It was an easy walk to Coconut Charlie’s and Jimmy B’s for oceanfront beachbar dinners with live music. We also enjoyed The Toasted Monkey and Oyster Shucker right down the street. It was nice to be able to walk everywhere! Randy was amazing like everyone says and we loved the “help yourself” approach to housekeeping items. The hotel is quaint yet swanky and we were there with tween girls who were equally impressed. 82 degrees restaurant definitely adds to the appeal of the hotel. Great food and happy hour!

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Randy who immediately made us feel at home, having checked in we received a token for a welcome cocktail Randy throughout our stay could not do enough for us making sure that we felt both welcome and comfortable. Indeed he went above and beyond to offer help and support to recover a phone that we accidentally left in an Uber. Our rooms had everything that we needed, they were clean, the bed was big and comfy and the shower hot. There was a small kitchen area with a coffee maker, microwave and fridge etc. The pool bar, the pool and hot tub were great, our granddaughter loved the pink flamingo swimming rings. There was a small games area and buggies were provided with all that you needed for a visit to the beach. There was even an onsite laundry The food at the onsite 82 Degrees restaurant was excellent. Everyone was very helpful and friendly throughout which made for a great stay. We would certainly have no hesitation returning to the Saint and I can say that on behalf of all our family (ages between 6 and 70) The hotel was within easy walking distance of Upham Beach, Corey Avenue and the many other amenities and restaurant in the area. Inaddition the trolley to Clearwater and Sunrunner to St Petersburg were close by. Apart from the 82 Degrees Restaurant, we liked Buoys, the Toasted Monkey, La Dolce Vita Trattoria and La Casa Del Pane which was one of Randy’s many helpful suggestions. He also suggested we visited the Farmers Market and made us aware of a local service that used in return for a gratuity.

I genuinely cannot think of anything, only perhaps that we never discovered The Saint Hotel on an earlier visit to the Gulf Coast.

Good location, right by the beach and good facilities. The fully stocked beach cart for the day was great!

Check in was a bit awkward, the 2 different PIN codes we were given to enter the room didn’t work, the key pad locked out so we were given an awkward key to open the door. The sofa bed wasn’t made up and we had to do this ourselves. Some of the facilities were broken - a bike we went to take out didn’t work properly and wasn’t fixed while we were there. Not the hotels fault but it’s also a party hotel and we had a very noisy group join part way through our stay which made the pool off putting.

Friendly staff. Cute set up… clean room. Hot tub, pool, on site restaurant. Best bar tender!
