The Snug @ the Mill Inn, Stonehaven

The location was excellent for accessing Market Square and the Harbour. Home from home. Angela the host was very friendly.

It's on 3rd floor. But good view. Smoke detector went off both mornings. But suspect the toaster needed crumbs/scraps emptying out. Did this and seems fine.

The Snug is well placed in the centre of Stonehaven and full of little touches that make it like a home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and other equipment including a washer and a dishwasher!, the lounge has several comfortable chairs and a nice sofa, and a big screen tele. There are two spacious bedrooms and a loo with a shower and a tub. It's all nicely kept up and the whole place just feels cosy and comfortable. There really isn't anything I'd suggest to improve on it. From the Snug, you're just a few minutes walk to the Stonehaven shops and high street, or to the lovely, scenic harbour, depending upon which direction you walk. Best thing about the place is that the host, Amanda is responsive and helpful and seems willing to do anything to ensure you have a nice visit. I would say she is just an exemplary host. Can't wait to return.

Lovely cosy apartment in great location for central stonehaven shops bars and restaurants. Host always helpful and everything you need included.

Only downside is no wardrobes but plenty drawers and hooks for hanging clothes and wardrobes would encroach on space too much.

It was all very nice. I would stay again

The only downfall for us was my sister had a very hard time with the stairs. We did not know there would be so many, but she did it.

I particularly liked the ease of access and the interior decor of the apartment. It was cosy and my family totally enjoyed the stay over. The kitchen was well fitted out and this meant we could have complete home cooked meals easily. Very family friendly! There were no funny odours or smells and this was a special appeal for us and it gave the sense of utmost cleanliness.

Wall clock of some form would have been useful. No toilet brush.

perfect location, easy access to everything we wanted. spacious bedrooms and living room. lovely space for us as 2 adults and 2 under 2s.

we didn't realise there is a couple of flights of stairs to the apartment but we managed fine.
