Hyatt House Allentown-Lehigh Valley

The difference between this stay compared with the one from a week ago on the first part of our trip was that this time we arrived in time to use the pool. What a great pool! It was a good size and very clean and it really made a big difference in my enjoyment of our stay. As before, the room and everything else about the hotel was just excellent. So I think this was the hotel we enjoyed the most on our trip.

A little pricy, but well worth it.

The overall positive factor was that the hotel is fairly new and all the rooms and other facilities are high quality and in great shape. The bathroom sink, mirror, and shower were all sparkling and well-designed. The beds were great. Breakfast was slightly above average--the scrambled eggs, for example, seemed a little less industrial than you sometimes find. We also appreciated that the hotel allowed dogs.

Our stay would have been even that much better if the pool opened earlier in the morning than 10 AM. For anyone traveling, that isn't a feasible start time.

Clean great location excellent breakfast

Great hotel. Rooms are well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Having a full kitchen if you're staying for any length of time is a great feature. Free breakfast in the morning is a plus!

Overall stay was great. Everything was clean and employees were professional and polite. 2nd time staying here and always welcomed when me and my family come by!

We requested no feathers and as standing request on my profile. I even called ahead the morning of arrival and was reassured it would be featherless. It was not done and the hostess at the desk said she was only one there so no housekeeping to take care of it. The bed was worn out with big ruts so horrible night sleep.

We offered this hotel to stay at for guests attending our wedding. The staff was not friendly, nor welcoming. They threw away pretzels (party favors from our wedding). We asked to have breakfast in a small side room with family and friends the day after our wedding (not serve breakfast, just a small private place for us to say goodbye to family that travelled far) and we were told no. This led to a very chaotic breakfast the next morning since there were other weddings and soccer tournaments going on that day, as well. Our suite was wonderful and clean. It's unfortunate since the hotel is so aesthetically pleasing. We expected much more based off of the look and price of this hotel. We would not recommend to anyone. If you need to stay in this area, stay at the Marriot where it's cheaper. You'll probably have a better experience, and if not, at least you saved money.

The gym was convenient. The pool was a disappointment. The heater was broken so water was so cold. Otherwise, I stay here often to visit family.
