The Madalena is a great Pousada, like a small boutique hotel. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, well-decored. You can find everything you need for a nice stay. There are some rooms with a small balcony, excellent for reading and chilling, and there is also a pool for guests' use. The breakfast is a feast, superb! The staff and owner are really friendly and nice. The hotel is near everything in Imbassai and has a parking lot... I certainly enjoyed staying at the Madalena!!

This pousada is in fact a boutique hotel with luxurious rooms. It is beautifully designed and decorated. Everything works as it should. The hosts are wonderful and the staff are great. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is to die for!

There is nothing we didn’t love. The pousada and it’s staff are amazing.

Belinda is fantastic! She and the girls from breakfast made our stay incredible. We were on our honeymoon and my parents were celebrating 43 years anniversary. They prepared everything with so much love!

There was nothing that we didn't like... just a couple of observations. 1) There were no amenities (shampoo and conditioner) - we had to buy them. 2) There is no buffet for breakfast, at least not for us, as we were basically the only ones in the hotel... so maybe it didn't make sense to put a buffet out. However, we were very well served.
