These apartments are a brilliant find in the area of camps bay. It is between a 15-20 minute walk down to the beach, but it is steep. As the property is further back and up the hill, we had stunning views and a beautiful sunset. The staff are efficient and very helpful. Whilst we were there, there was some maintenance work being done to the outside of the property, this caused us no problems at all and the workers were very polite and considerate. The property itself is brilliantly designed and thought out. There is a huge amount of storage to unpack properly, great if you are staying for a week and don't want to live out of a suitcase. The bathrooms and luxurious with a huge bath and shower. The kitchen has lots of storage again and a good amount of available kitchen appliances and crockery and glasses. We do wish there was access to a braai! There is a full, separate utility, which was great for us being away for three weeks and wanting to keep on top of washing. You could actually live in these apartments, they didn't feel like they were designed for short-term holiday lets. One thing to note, we did have a room close to the stair well, and during our stay there were high winds, this was fairly noisy - but I imagine all properties across Cape Town will have been on that day. Secure parking underneath the property gave us peace of mind that our vehicle was safe and secure. No complaints, we would absolutely book this place again.

"Don't book here"

2.0

Beautiful view.

Room 110 The place looks nothing like the photos shown when making the booking. I would understand a slight difference, but this was completely different. No WiFi for 2.5 of the 4 days spent there. When we were eventually connected to the WiFi, it was to the neighbours WiFi - thus it was slow. So basically, the WiFi in our apartment just never worked. No smart TV, so we couldn't connect and stream anything during our downtime. There's dstv, but limited channels. Furniture is old, visibly looks aged and damaged, shower handle is broken (see attached images) Sheets smelt awful our first night there (these were switched out after I asked on the 2nd day) Customer service issue, as I brought up my dissatisfaction with the room to the staff early on, and they were dismissive. It's not great value for money. You're better off booking elsewhere.

"ok, but wouldn’t stay again. major issue they don’t have a power generator."

6.0

location is great - 15 mins walk from the beach and easy cab to elsewhere. place is generally fine for what you need - not amazing but fine.

I think there were a few issues here which mean I won’t come back here - firstly, there is no one that they tell you that they have no generator. SA has something called load shedding which means they turn off the power for around 8 hours a day. most places have a generator - this place does not. this is pretty massive issue - can’t charge your phone, use the lights, wifi etc. there’s zero power. this is fine but it 100% should be disclosed and it’s not. I think this is really poor. 2. it’s expensive for what it is and you can find way nicer places for the same price. 3. the staff were very helpful. not rude. just not helpful. we asked to check in early and were told that we could, only to arrive and then be waiting 2.5 hours and end up checking in an hour later than the specified check in time. they weren’t even apologetic which just isn’t great.

"Great sea views, great facilities - customer service needs training."

6.0

We loved the facility, great environment definitely worth another visit in future. Full kitchen at all three rooms we stayed at - washing machine, dryer, full fridge, dishwasher, cutlery - the works. 102 was for us the best of the three, inventor helped with load shedding, latest smart tv, you just need to bring your Netflix, Amazon,Disney logins and you’re at home, especially for days when you don’t feel like leaving the room/ cold / raining, 109 was just as great only thing TV needs to be updated :-)

Bookings.com messed up our booking - confirmed on the app since Feb 2022 for December, however reflects as cancelled at checkin. So the host lady accommodated our situation as follows - which we appreciate: 2 nights - 102 (2bedroom) 2nights - 313 (2bedroom) 5 nights - 109 (1bedroom). The beauty about our awkward situation is that we could experience more than one room. BUT…the receptionist/host lady was very rigid and hostile…on the days we needed to be transferred to another room she insists you check out at 11:00 and only move into the next room at 15:30 - wait at the swimming pool area if don’t have plans to go out that day. This was in our view ridiculous as any hospitality facility would afford you the courtesy to only vacate the room when the one you are moving into next is ready - especially if you’re booked for a longer stay. If you’re in service environment you need to be flexible enough to accommodate customers especially with unforeseen circumstances or situations where no one’s at fault. It is very wrong to treat a paying customer like you are doing them a favour, more so in a service or hospitality environment. PS this did not ruin our holiday, it will take much more than that :-)

Location, view from balcony, good size apartments, underground secure parking and felt safe and secure on the premises. Check in and out was easy

Had broken shards of glass in our shower and bathroom sink tap didn't work. Reported it almost straight away and took at least 24 hrs to be sorted so showered in flip flops the whole stay
