"Nice location and hotel, but doesn't provide a 4 stars level of service"

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights as part of a greater trip through the south of Italy. Hotel: The hotel location is great with a direct view to the sea, the coast line and the Stromboli island. The access to the beach is possible directly from the hotel within a 15 min walk or thanks to the regular shuttle service provided by the hotel. The service at the beach is also great offering drinks, snacks as well as a safe and private access to the sea. Food and Beverages: The hotel offers a main restaurant serving mainly as a buffet which is well diversified and tasty. A second à la carte restaurant is available for customer once per stay. The bar offers a wide range of drinks including wine and cocktails at reasonable prices. Room: The room is spacious and comfortable. It is however lacking storage room, furnitures and lights. E.g. a double bedroom only has one chair to sit on. Alternatively, if both guests wish to sit at the same time, they either can sit on the toilets or on the bed. Room is furnished with very basic (and obviously cheap) equipment. Service: The overall level of service at the restaurants and bars is very good with friendly and available staff. The same goes with the pool and beach. A special thank to Francesca who's caring about each customer and making sure everyone's satisfied When it comes to other services like maintenance and housekeeping, it did not come to our satisfaction. In the first days of our stay, we highlighted a defective cloth drying rack and ask for it to be changed as it could not be used. 3 days later and after 3 reminders, the rack was still not changed. Similar lack of response to get the bedsheets changed. We requested it to be done through their app but had to claim it at the reception 2 days later as the request remained opened in the app. The concept of having an app to book services is good on the principle but remains useless in this hotel. Our requests were only taken care of after having repetitively complained directly at the reception. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel but wish that the few issues we encountered would have been taken care of in a smooth way.

Complexes de très bon standing et d’une grande propreté. Piscine divine et accès direct à une magnifique plage privée avec transats et parasols. Chambres immenses et très confortables. Le service de chambre est quotidien et irréprochable. Un seul bémol : l’accueil et le personnel. Tellement habitués à une clientèle allemande qu’on nous parle exclusivement en allemand. Les serveurs du petit-déjeuner étaient très désagréables alors que nous avons toujours eu un comportement exemplaire et discret. Sinon, très bonne localisation pour visiter Tropea, Capo,… et la région

"A bit disappointing"

So the good; the staff at the bar are great, full of personality and great recommendations. The receptionists were really helpful and the maids did a great job. The beds are comfortable and you have some great views of the sea from the pool area. The location is lovely for chilling out or getting to some stunning beaches. There are a lot of daily activities (we didn’t do any) but it was a comprehensive list of things to do. The not so good; the food isn’t great at the hotel. We had dinner there once and opted to go out from that point. Breakfast wasn’t much better. The hotel itself is a bit meh, they definitely caught it’s good side in the photos! Our room didn’t have a single decoration and the grounds lacked any finishing touches and therefore looked quite stark and lacking personality. Some of the photos on the website, I would go as far as saying are misleading - the same photo is used for the Junior and Imperial Suites. We raised this with the manager and we were given a 95€ discount but I think the website needs a drastic update! Things to note; the hotel is aimed very much towards the German market which is not a problem but as a Brit and an Italian, we didn’t quite fit in! If you book a junior suite, insist on having a ground floor room. We had the only first floor junior suite and it’s just two doubles knocked through, you don’t have a terrace and you have a balcony split in half. The ground floor ones looked way better.
