The room was very well furnished and a good shiwer. The breakfast was excellent although I only chose to eat cereal, fruit salad and toast.

We opted for a stay in the annexe, for a three night stay to celebrate our 53rd wedding anniversary in the north east. We were delighted with our stay. Sue looks after all B&B guests, and is an excellent hostess. The annexe was spotless, well equipped and Sue provided wonderful breakfasts each morning. Nothing was too much trouble, and her advice on local eateries for dinner, or local tourist locations, was much appreciated. It was a most enjoyable stay. If returning to the area, we'd book again! But could the weather be like that we enjoyed, again: blue skies and warm / hot sunshine

Lovely, quiet, well equipped and comfortable annex with garden and hill views. Well situated within the village with a useful Co-op very close by along with all the other town amenities. Excellent breakfast.

There is a lot of parking next to the property but it does gat very busy.

Ligging aan de Pennine Way, een wandelroute. Kamer erg schoon. Ontbijt goed.

Kamer heel erg klein. We bleven er twee dagen, maar de tweede dag werd de kamer niet schoongemaakt of opgeruimd, het bed niet opgemaakt, handdoeken niet vervangen, koffie en thee niet aangevuld. Dat mag je voor de gevraagde prijs wel verwachten.
