Washer / Dryer would wash but not dry. Kept showing error code.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing overall. One of the main issues was the shower. The bathroom only had a fixed overhead shower with no handheld or movable showerhead, which made it quite uncomfortable to use. The amenities provided were also inadequate. For two adults, only two small bottles of shower gel were supplied, along with a very small amount of washing powder. When we requested a restock, we were told to purchase additional supplies ourselves. The cleanliness and housekeeping standards were below expectations. The bed sheets and pillowcases had visible stains, which was disappointing to find upon arrival. No DSTV, only YouTube and Netflix app The biggest issue, however, was the iron provided in the room. The iron was clearly in poor condition and it was difficult to tell whether it was set to a low or high temperature. It did not iron clothes effectively, yet it burned fabric very easily. When I added water to the iron, it leaked and soaked my dress. It also left brown burn marks on a towel and bathrobe and accidentally caused a burn mark on the ironing board. The property later contacted us and requested payment for the damaged ironing board, towel, and bathrobe. I explained that the iron appeared to be faulty and had also damaged some of my own dresses. Their response was that a "reasonable guest" would have reported the issue immediately if the iron was faulty. I found this response dismissive and unprofessional. Despite my concerns, I paid R750 for the damages. The towel and bathrobe were removed from the room. I requested it to be brought back but they were never brought back, even though we had paid for the items. To add to the frustration, while I was getting ready to leave for our flight, a staff member came to ask what time we would be checking out. My husband explained that we were in the process of leaving.

Modern facilities, friendly and helpful reception staff, great communication, great location that allowed me to get around easily. The bar and pool had great views 😊 upon arrival, there was a nice snack waiting for me on the table; I appreciated that. I also love that they use reusable glass bottles to provide water!

Sometimes, the door felt a little thin and could hear people outside quite clearly, but that may actually be more a reflection on the loudness of the people that were walking by 🤣

I liked everything about the apartment. Me and my partner enjoyed ourselves
