Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa

The resort and its staff were truly exceptional. We visit the Maldives every year, but this was our first stay at Le Méridien Maldives, and it exceeded our expectations. One of the highlights from the very beginning was seeing the Director of Operations, Mr. Deepak, whom we knew from another Marriott property in the Maldives. It was such a pleasant surprise! As always, he treated us with professionalism, genuine warmth, and great hospitality. We were delighted to see him here. We loved all the staff, the chefs, and everyone we met during our stay. Their friendliness and dedication made us feel welcome throughout our vacation. We stayed in a Lagoon Villa, as we are not fans of fully overwater villas or semi-outdoor bathrooms. The Lagoon Villa was the perfect fit for us—it offered easy ground-level access while still providing the beautiful overwater villa experience right in front of us. The setup was excellent. The only downside was the absence of a private pool in the villa. A special shoutout to the Kids Hub team—Manager Ms. Reesha, along with Ms. Fary and Ms. Torsa. They were absolutely amazing and took wonderful care of our child. Our toddler spent such a great time with them and the other children, which made our trip even more enjoyable and relaxing. All of the restaurants were fantastic, with a wide variety of food options. At some Maldives resorts, even with all-inclusive packages, we eventually get tired of the food and dining venues. However, Le Méridien Maldives offers four distinct restaurants, each with excellent food quality and a unique dining experience, so every meal felt fresh and enjoyable. I cannot remember everyone’s names, but Chef Rahul, Erma, Xavi, and many others were incredibly kind and contributed to making our stay so memorable. I must also mention Symon from Velaa. He did much more than serve guests—he kindly offered to take photos for us, and the results looked like they were taken by a professional photographer! If you have the chance, look for Symon and ask him to take your pictures—you won’t be disappointed. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for your outstanding hospitality, accommodations, and service. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back.

SHOUT OUT TO CHEF PRADEEP & CHEF VAMSI & MS.LITA I have been to this resort 3 times and each time got better and better, the staff are very attentive and will cater to your needs, I was truly amazed and blessed to enjoy each night at Velaa Bar & Grill.

Hospitality at its true best! What an incredible stay, what an incredible staff, what an incredible experience! We have had such an amazing experience and that it just felt like being at home but without all the daily stress and worry. Most importantly, my 1.5 year old toddler was taken care of completely! Chef Pradeep took take of all my baby food demands, and best part it keep my baby sane and healthy all throughout the trip. Chef Pradeep was supported by chefs Rahul, suraj, vamsi, arvind and shoaib. If they were not around to cater to us, the experience would have been completely different and not as smooth. Also like to extend my thanks to Abhishek, Aby, francesca, yami, and all incredible staff there whose name i dont remember but all of them were just so so kind and caring towards all of us. Cant wait to go back again! Thanks again for such a lovely experience.

We just returned from an unforgettable stay at Le Meridien Maldives with my wife and baby, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The staff went above and beyond to make traveling with a baby feel effortless, anticipating our needs and offering thoughtful touches that made all the difference. The amenities are simply incredible and impeccably maintained. Every corner of the resort feels cared for, from the pristine beaches to the beautifully kept facilities. It’s clear the team takes real pride in the property. The food was a highlight of the trip. Every meal was outstanding, and the staff happily accommodated every request we had, always delivering quickly and with a smile. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. What truly sets this place apart is the people. The warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care from every team member made our stay extraordinary. We will absolutely be back, and we cannot wait to return. Five stars all the way!!!

Amazing property at Maldives. If you want to feel the luxury come to Le Meridien. The plus point here is the staff behaviour, which is very professional , helpful and always ready to serve at their best. We want to write a small appreciation post for our coordinator at Le meridian. Torsa is truly the heart of our stay at Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa. She took such caring attention of our daughter and managed everything so smoothly for us throughout the trip. From every small detail to the beautiful surprise she arranged for our 10th wedding anniversary, she made our stay unforgettable. A true one-stop go-to person with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Thank you, Torsa, for making our Maldives memories so special.”

Le Meridien is a place I will recommend to visit with family. Especially for young kids, I did come with my two year old daughter and she had a wonderful experience with her nanny Torsa. Torsa is kind and heartwarming, play along side with my daughter and enjoyed every moment of it. Overall I will say it is a nice island with good view, excellent food and prompt service.

The Le Meridien resort turned out to be amazing — we made the right choice. We were absolutely delighted with our vacation and enjoyed every single day. The service is top-notch, and the food at every restaurant is delicious. You can truly feel that the staff cares about everyone’s comfort — they’re always checking in, giving recommendations, and engaging with guests. We stayed in both an overwater villa and a beach villa, each with its own charm. Thank you very much for a wonderful vacation ❤️

The stay in le Meridien Maldives was amazing, least to say. I Spent my honeymoon there. Hands down best vacation I had in my entire life and i have been to lots of places. The way the staff treated us made me feel like a king. Absolute perfection and insane attention to all the small details from all of the staff members, especially Abby, Ali, Symon, Upsy, Chef Rahul and photographer Ahu. The room was always tiday and was taken care of twice a day. The reception was bery helpful and all our extra requests got immediately done. The beach was clean, water was clear and the dive center offerd multiple experiences to meet everyone’s needs to get the most experience out of it. The hotel/manger made for us extra complimentary stuff and gave us the best possible room when they were informed that it was our honeymoon. I will definitely come back. Thank you le meridien for such a non forgettable once in a lifetime experience. Only thing that make me sad is that i have to leave after amazing 7 days in Heaven.

We really loved the stay with le Meridien Maldives. Everything was so well taken care of and we could just enjoy all the food and activities without worrying. The food was exceptional, could see the effort and level of detail put into each dish. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. And the room cleaning staff were nice. We enjoyed every bit of the honeymoon experience. We really enjoyed the honeymoon benefits which made our stay more special. The view here is absolutely stunning. Our curator Ali was very responsive to our messages and tried his best to accommodate our needs.
