Location to spark

I had a spacious room which was well equipped. It's in a good location, not far from the waterfront with lots of shops and public transport. There's also a supermarket nearby.

I sent a message via booking.com beforehand to ask if I could get a room on a higher floor. I received no answer and got a room on floor 2 (out of 14), facing the crumbling wall of the neighboring building. It was so dark that I had to switch on the lights even when there was bright sunshine outside. Since I was only staying one night, I let it go. However, the worst was the automatic ventilation that the room had and which could not be switched off. When I was sitting or lying in my bed, a cold current went right into my face which was very unpleasant. The receptionist gave me an additional duvet with which I made it through the night but it was not a good experience. Maybe other rooms are different but I can clearly not recommend room 207.

Good value spacious room with everything you need. Easy walking distance to the city centre.
