Fletchers Rest

Central location. Short walk to Bus station and sea front. Great coastal walks from the property and also along the river. Very clean. Great hosts.

Couple of minor items needed for the kitchen but nothing critical. Didn’t bother us but some of the more elderly might need to be aware of hill into town/coming back - but it is Whitby after all!

furnished to a high standard, very clean, nice garden, comfy beds.

The beds are super comfy, the place is spotless and modern. The garden is a suntrap although lacking a few flowers. The place is presented very well with a partial view of the Abbey. Charlotte & Andy go the extra mile, it was our anniversary and we were left a bottle of fizz and some biscuits, which was a nice touch. Thankyou.

Having to strip the beds, when on holiday that's one thing I definitely do not want to do.

Very clean. Had what we needed.for our stay.Private parking.Quiet area.Near to the town.Easy to get out of the town from the bungalow onto the main roads.Host provides lots of information in their messages.

Ice cube tray would be an idea and some kitchen roll. But this obviously didn't detract from the rest of the stay.

The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The kitchen had a large fridge freezer. We had an amazing view of Whitby Abbey from the kitchen window, All rooms were of a generous size - and one of the bedrooms was en-suite. We were in walking distance of Whitby harbour and a Co-op supermarket plus bus and train stations. Beautiful coastal walk to to Robin Hood's Bay.

Nothing really. If I were to be very "picky" I'd mention that we struggled a bit walking back up the hill from the sea front to the bungalow, but given the hilly nature of the town (and our mature years) that would probably have been the case wherever we stayed. Certainly wouldn't prevent me staying at Fletchers Rest again!

Spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished, excellent location just a short walk from town centre.

The house was beautiful inside and very clean, it had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable too. Only a short walk from Whitby town center

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Fantastic and generous hosts, great communication. Very comfortable and clean house, a joy to stay in. EV charger was a massive boon to us and saved the stress and time of finding a local one.

Not a problem for us, but just to be aware there's a fairly steep slope back up from the town (as in all of Whitby!)
