Casa do Páteo - Charming House

Absolutely beautiful!!! 5 stars! We will be back and our stay will be longer. Highly recommend.

An exceptional couple of days in a truly charming house in the middle of Ponta Delgada. Close to everything you wish for for a city centre, the relaxing atmosphere, delicious seasonal breakfast, captivating smell and luxurious decoration and furniture make it the perfect place to stay. Not to forget the immense gratitude and help from the staff. This place is a must do for a short luxury stay in the Acores!

This place is perfect for anyone traveling to Sao Miguel. The staff are amazing and went above and beyond. The house is stunning and is in the perfect location making everything in Ponta Delgada walkable. It was our first time visiting and wanted to explore the island so we rented a car from Auto Ramalhense that was a few blocks away and we were able to park in the overnight parking lot right downtown for around 10 euro a night. The breakfast was very good at the house! We had to leave super early on the last day around 5am and the staff made to-go breakfast boxes since we would miss breakfast that day.. they were the sweetest! I highly recommend the Charming House and can’t wait to come back!

Eine liebevoll eingerichtetes Stadthaus, das wirklich zurecht Charming-House heißt. Die liebe Gabriela kümmert sich mit hervorragend um die Gäste. Alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstück läßt keine Wünsche offen.

The family suite is very large, with 2 separate rooms, 3 beds, and an impressive bathroom with twin showers. It fit a family of 4 well. The balcony overlooking the courtyard also has good views of the city. The staff were very welcoming and when they found out we had to checkout before breakfast service started, they made up special breakfast boxes for us to take away. Overall a great stay.

The place was a beautiful refurbished old building! The location was great but parking worked for the city but wasn’t perfect. The room was lovely but needed more spaces to hang your things or to place your things other than the floor!

Schöne Unterkunft in einer zentralen Lage mit sehr netten Personal. Die Unterkunft ist stilvoll ausgestattet innen ist sehr sauber. Was die Sauberkeit angeht, gibt es aber einen Wermutstropfen. Tauben haben unseren Balkon verunreinigt und es wurde über Tage nichts gemacht, sodass es am Ende unseres Aufenthalts nicht mehr schön war, auf dem Balkon zu gehen.

We enjoyed our stay in Charming House - Case do Pateo immensly. It is a beautiful, charming hotel, with a wonderfully kind staff. The breakfast is exceptional. Not too big, but varied en with local products. I absolute recommend this hotel.

The Charming House was just that. Wonderful customer service that allowed us to drop our bags off before check in so we could explore. The decor was culturally authentic with modern amenities. Breakfast was authentic to the region with many tasty options. High recommend this Charming House.

This is a beautiful old house with gorgeous stone stairways and accents. It has been upgraded and modified to be extremely comfortable and stylish. It is lovingly cared for and managed by a professional, helpful staff who made sure our needs were met every step of the way. The parking is a bit confusing. Make sure you are VERY clear on exactly where the entrance to the parking garage is located before you arrive with your car. It is almost impossible to see from the street at night and you will drive around the block repeatedly looking for it. Google will only give you a general idea. A printed map at check in would be extremely helpful!
