Troon Beach & Golf Haven

We had a lovely stay, thank you, it was excellent. We thought the house was very well appointed, spacious, and it has a great location. Beds great … showers great…. It was very clean.

The lighting in the lounge could be brighter.

The house was well located with sea view. Communication with host was difficult and had to get in touch with Booking.com. Host advised didn't receive my message, however, all my previous messages were received.

The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes that had been there for sometime as there was fungus on them; the outside table was badly stained with seagull dropping which I know cannot be helped, however, it took a fair bit of time and elbow grease to remove them so again feel they had been there for awhile. Also, window ledges had a lot of dead flies on them - I don't think the property had been recently cleaned prior to our arrival and I am unable to upload the photographs. I did ask if the host would consider a £50 refund for the cleaning we had to do before we got settled but that got ignored and neither did they respond to Booking.com - as I said plenty of communication up until monies received and then nothing, several phone calls were also made but they went unanswered.

Location and views are exceptional - close to everything including bars and restaurants, beach, walks, shops etc. Very comfortable, nicely decorated, spacious and has everything that you need including great kitchen with plenty utensils and cutlery. Touches like an Alexa, tea and coffee, Nice garden furniture looking out to the sea. Master bedroom has fabulous views at front of property. Owners were on hand if needed. We only stayed one night but could have happily stayed much longer.
