Sheets wasn't clean, but was rectified very quickly. Shared shower facilities was clean considering how busy this hotel was and location is very good. Not perfect, but definitely recommend for what i paid for.

Loved the place! Very unique in its on way. Very clean and modern. Def recommend!

SOLO WOMEN DO NOT STAY HERE OPod hotel stole $300 from me and I was mocked in Hebrew for pointing this out. They also threatened to 'sue' me in the Israeli small claims court (idk exactly what its called) for pointing this out. After 4 hours with Expedia they said they would refund me but never did. The manager George was not available over 4 days to see me. Only after I checked out. He had my contact details and never got in touch. I am an experienced traveler and this was the worst hotel I have stayed at. Opod staff define misogyny. DO NOT trust them. Unsafe. Ruined my week in Israel Palestine. George you still have my contact, why dont you get off your lazy backside and get in touch with Emma L who stayed in July 2023.

Perfect for solo travelers who are in Israel for the first time!

Very nice common areas, basic pod, but poorly executed hotel layout / design. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned more often with the amount of use they get. The layout of the shower cubclicles and toilets was quite tight, and no practical shelves or hooks for clothes and toiletries. Unfortunately the hand air dryer is located right next to the pods, meaning the pods adjacent to or above (due to a metal grate walkway for upper level pods) can hear the very loud air dryer that sounds like a vacuum every time it goes off, at all times of day and night. The walls of the pod were very thin so external noise could be heard easily. The pod was basic, had some under bed draws, but needed more than zero sheliving. The deluxe pod had a nice semi-private balcony and view of the beach.

Here’s a summary of my review: lots of good things, a suggestion for travellers, and some constructive feedback for management. Overall, our experience at OPod was good. Facilities were neat and clean and staff were quite helpful. Premises were larger than expected, with a sizeable sea-facing common area with high chairs and counter for meals or workstation. Outdoor balcony area as well. Very centrally located - close to beaches, restaurants and Old Jaffa City. Good value for your money in a pricey part of town. Recommendation: pods are comfortable but tight, and climbing in and out can be tricky. Not for those with mobility issues, or if your older and find maneuvering into small spaces awkward. Definitely suited to younger and more agile travellers. Feedback. We stayed three nights and had a family in our section who were loud, prepared meals in their pod, and were up and down until well after midnight. We mentioned it to staff who spoke to the family but to no avail. They continued and no one addressed the disturbance further. It affected our sleep and enjoyment of the pod. Staff needed to be more firm and I suggest a ‘quiet time’ in pods from 11m-6am.
