This is a nice hotel, though nothing much around the area . Was close to the hospital I was working at for a few days . The original room I had was a nice size, but unfortunately the AC was not working. Linda at reception kindly found another room with a nice cool room for me. She was very helpful. The next room was quite a bit smaller, but still the hotel is clean, updated and felt safe . The area around the hotel is more industrial , with a couple of small eating places around the next street ..

Located near 8th Ave (In Brooklyn's Chinatown) and great Puebla-area Mexican food, as well. Neighborhood is quiet & safe. Staff was pleasant & helpful (even by email before arrival). Room and public areas were very clean & well maintained. Quite a good breakfast, too, with a nice variety of hot and cold items. Oh...and 24hr coffee in the lobby!

Really, just minor stuff: No way to pay for late check out (although one extra hour was free). Not much room for luggage in the lobby, especially when there are many guests going to the cruise port. Also, the USB outlets in the room didn't work. Not the hotel's fault, but parking is an issue, as others have mentioned. $33+ for a car and $41+ for a minivan is extortion, but the parking is right next door and the staff were nice, at least. 🤷 (And FYI, street parking is pretty much a non-starter!)

The a/c did not work properly. The street noise and sirens all night were very loud.
