Très déçu(e) par mon séjour. Des frais supplémentaires ont été ajoutés sans explication claire et l'attente à la réception était excessive. Un meilleur service client serait apprécié.

It is very positive that the tap water is drinkable, at least according to the reception staff. This is definitely appreciated. The breakfast room has a pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast buffet tries to follow the style of better hotels, but the selection is still quite limited. On the positive side, it was very nice to see fresh green salad, cucumbers, beetroot and a wide selection of olives available for breakfast. This was also a good presentation of local food. I personally avoid cold cuts, so I did not try the local processed meats. There were also boiled eggs and scrambled eggs available. The juices looked far too sweet, so I did not try them either. They also offer tea, both sweetened and unsweetened; the unsweetened tea was an excellent alternative to coffee. The sweet corner was more a display of ready-made jams than a real local dessert selection. I missed having more local cheeses and more fresh fruit. Overall, the food was acceptable, but in my opinion it does not fully reflect the standard expected from a 4-star hotel.

At first impression, the room looks very nice, well designed and thoughtfully arranged. As a construction professional and experienced traveller, I would especially like to point out the good solution for access to the air-conditioning unit, which is practical and well considered. However, the quality of execution should be improved, or at least better supervised. In the bathroom, the ceramic tiles were not properly grouted, or the grouting was done carelessly. This is not only an aesthetic issue, but also a hygiene concern, as poorly finished joints can retain moisture and dirt. Because the tiles were not grouted with the correct material, salts appear to be coming through from underneath, creating white stains on the ceramic surface. This does not match the standard expected from a hotel of this level. The same applies to the wooden doors and especially the door frames. The wood itself looks very good and of high quality, but water and moisture from the bathroom and entrance area seem to be affecting the wooden parts. Better detailing, protection and quality control during execution would significantly improve the durability and overall impression of the rooms.
