It’s different from my usual hotel. Less amenities, but more character. Rooms are individual log cabins. There’s a gas station, a restaurant (which serves decent Chinese food, and a Pizza Hut within 2 minutes walk. The town itself (Mountain View) is small, so get all your necessities prior to arriving. It’s about 45 minutes away from Evanston WY, a town of about 2400 people.

"A unique, comfy, cozy cabin to rest your little (or giant) head on a soft bed."

We were desperately looking for a place to stay the night on our drive west after encountering construction and less than ideal weather conditions. Fortunately for us the place closest to the highway was all booked up so we took a chance on Country Cabins. It was about 10 minutes southwest of Lyman and totally worth the short drive. The cabins were super cute and cozy, the beds were soft and comfy, and the overall area is very quiet. Nice hot showers with plenty a towel to dry off. The wifi was nice and strong. As others have mentioned, we parked right in front of our cabin which is good for anyone with mobility issues. In a unique twist, the place you check in shares a Chinese restaurant. We would have gotten something to eat, but we got there too late. There is a gas station with a mini mart right across the street along with a Pizza Hut if you get there late like we did and just need something. I totally recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying in the area.

Concerned about the cows but they were quiet. The TV was a frustration. Couldn't get regular Sports programing. Some cleanliness issues - blinds.

The jacuzzi tub used up all the hot water. The lighting in the bedroom was poor. I hope the management found our cabin key in the lock box since the office was closed when we left at 7:30 AM. The room was not cleaned while we were there (Friday-Sunday). The complimentary soap was broken into 3-4 pieces (old?). Mini fridge froze the soda. Only 1 wash cloth but 4 bath towels.
