Second stay at The Nordic Hotel and it was just as good as I remembered, which is rare. The hotel manages to feel calm, stylish, and genuinely welcoming at the same time. The Scandinavian ownership and design influence are clear, but they are blended thoughtfully with local Nigerian touches, so it never feels cold or generic. Service is consistently professional and friendly, check-in is smooth, and the overall atmosphere makes it easy to settle in immediately. The bar remains a highlight for me, particularly the range of drinks and the Bature Brewery lager on draught. Breakfast is excellent, fresh options, good quality ingredients, and a relaxed start to the day. I also really appreciate the attention to detail throughout the property, from the artwork on display to the small in-room touches. Seeing Skandinavisk products in the bathroom was again a genuine bonus, and having the option to buy (again!) their candles onsite still makes me happy.. Overall, this is a hotel that gets the fundamentals right while still feeling distinctive. Very comfortable stay, consistently high standards, and an easy choice for future visits.

What a lovely hotel, made even better by the fantastic staff. Front of the house Staff, housekeeping, and the FB staff were tremendous. The Nordic has definitely made a customer out of me.

I stayed in room 216 between 10 – 12 feb 2026, Rude and unmannered staff, on my arrival one female staff just brought welcome drink fill with ice without asking me that I want it or not , or how I like it to be serve, and when I told her that you not ask me about this drink and I don’t take ice she reply me we serve like this only, I return that drink and no porter to take your luggage to your room. In room leaking shower, stain carpets, dirty windows, no internet works on the room smart TV you can’t connect to Netflix or any other applications. Only 15 channels come on TV from that 3 are not working. And Top of that, if you ask for extra room water, they have problem in giving that after charging such a premium price for the room and extremely behave rudely and NO ONE from supervisors to top Management level brother to speak to guest to understand their issues that why they are complaining, such a poor customer service and general management. In morning Breakfast I not saw I single staff who have a smile or welcoming attitude for the guest in fact it looks that there is force labor to serve breakfast to guest and surprisingly first time in my life I saw I dish tag Veg biryani on display in morning breakfast and in no manner it looks like biryani, it was just a tasteless white rice with the garnishing of peanuts on it and further it so uncomfortable to do self service breakfast form there buffet, they use cast iron pots with cover, now with one hand you are holding plate and with other the cover of pot and if someone is next to you , you don’t have place to keep that cover to serve in your plate. This hotel is just like a normal budget hotel, and they are charging like five-star hotel with no services, small rooms and very rude, unmannered staff and they don’t have signage outside the hotel that makes it difficult to locate them. For me it was first and last time and not the worth of the value what I paid for.

Hotel location, decoration, built quality, service, staff professionalism, facilities ( pool, gym), food are very good
