To set the tone from the start I was booked and fully paid for a property in Spencer Street. When I arrived in Melbourne and called the number attached to the booking I was told that there was no booking for myself and that was the end of the conversation. Thankgod for hotels.com who were able to sort the mess out and find accomodation for us as the original property had closed and nobody not even hotels.com told of this. The new accomodation was through the same people as the original booking so I had my doubts, however the property was clean and in the same area as the original. We did have an issue with the TV, there were 3 in the property and not 1 worked. All we wanted them for was to watch the news and NRL. We were told that they would be fixed then replaced but nothing. Would I book a stay with ready set appartments again HELL NO will I continue to use hotels.com for my book YES
