Property was excellent. Clean. Great location

We were in #8. The mattress sucked. No box springs, mattress is placed on top of a concrete pad.

My experience at Casa del Jaguar was far from what anyone would expect from a hotel that markets itself as “luxury.” From the moment I arrived for check-in, the attitude from one of the female staff members was cold, dismissive, and noticeably unwelcoming. There was no warmth, attentiveness, or genuine hospitality whatsoever. Instead of feeling valued as a guest, I felt like I was inconveniencing the staff simply by being there. What made the situation even more disappointing was that I brought this issue directly to the hotel manager, expecting at least some level of concern or professionalism. Unfortunately, my comments seemed to be completely ignored. There was no meaningful response, no real interest in understanding the situation, and no effort to make things right. That, more than anything, reflected a serious lack of customer care and hospitality culture. I travel frequently and understand that small operational mistakes can happen anywhere. However, indifference toward guests is something entirely different — especially at a property positioning itself as a high-end boutique hotel. It’s unfortunate because the hotel itself has potential, but the poor service and lack of professionalism during check-in completely overshadowed the experience.

Location right on the beach was absolutely stunning You get access to the beach club and guaranteed a bed Rooms spacious and lovely Nice swimming pool looking on to the beach for when you want a change from the sea

Localisation proche du centre, très sympa le soir, bonne ambiance bars, restos

Toilettes bouché qui ont débordé dans toute la chambre, les WC ont simplement été débouché, mais non nettoyé, l'eau au sol a été évacué dans la douche, la laissant impraticable, très sale, l'eau au sol dans la chambre a été brièvement raclée, mais il en restait encore beaucoup. La réception nous as dit qu'il n'avait pas de personnel pour la nettoyer, on ne nous a pas proposé de changement de chambre, à 750€ la nuit c'est inadmissible. Le déjeuner ridicule seulement des oeufs avec une tartine et un demi avocat, un jus de pastèque plein de glaçons insipide, j'ai demandé un jus d'orange mais c'était en supplément, serveuse très désagréable. Restaurant de l'hôtel sans intérêt. Plage impraticable énormément de sargasses, les zones sans algues sont envahies par des bateaux d'excursions, musiques très forte, alcool, destination à fuir!!!

Boutique, casual yet chic vibe. Best beach. Staff was delightful and helpful.

The location is excellent, right on the beach. They have a large swimming pool with view of the ocean. The room is large, with a double bed, two single beds and a sofa. There's plenty of space for suit cases. However, the price this time was high. Given that the neighbour hotel, Na Balam, is virtually identical to hotel Jaguar, we'll probably pick Na Balam next time based on price.

Price. It's expensive to save just 1 minute walk compared to Na Balam.
