Hotel Mandalas House by DOT Boutique

This place was paradise for a mature couple like us. The place was quiet, making us feel calm and comfortable. The sheets, towels and pillows were of good quality. The A/C was great. The garden/pool area was enjoyable—an Oasis in the middle of the Rodadero madness.

There were some walls with stains on the wallpaper, and the light switches were also a little nasty. The breakfast could be better.

Perfect location. Very close to the walled city. Breakfast had a lot of selection. The pool is wonderful. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is very clean. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel!

The staff was very helpful and professional. The grounds and the room was always clean and comfortable.

I thought the breakfast could have been more robust. It wasn't the equivalent of an included breakfast at one of the larger hotels. However, it was tasty, and the food quality was high—just not enough of it.

It's a pretty hotel and the room was comfortable.

The location was not great for us -- it's not far from the beach, but need to cross a very busy street (basically running). The only water (even at breakfast) is purchased bottled water, which was expensive and terrible for the environment. There was a dog barking all night close to our room and unable to sleep (not the fault of the hotel, but I would not recommend a room on the street side).

The staff at the reception were super friendly and did their best to make our stay as relaxing as possible. I really appreciated that it’s a small hotel with only a few rooms – the service felt much more personal and attentive compared to larger hotels. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable stay.
