Namhae Pumda Pool villa Pension

The hotel was very run-down and nothing like the pictures shown online. I am deeply disappointed that the pool was not ready and unusable despite this being advertised as a 'pool villa'. I refused to stay and requested an appropriate resolution, which was denied. I realized I've paid at the Booking.com twice as much as the price of what they normally pay at the South Korean website.

Pictures are 100% accurate. The view is incredible, Naver Map made it easy to find. Very clean, amazingly helpful host, and the bioluminescent waves took our breath away! The island itself is lovely, the host showed us everything the island had to offer when we arrived, and the language barrier was no problem. The hosts were kind and friendly and gave us plenty of space but were also available. Everything was picture perfect! More about the host: Our van broke down when we pulled in the first night, and he arranged a tow truck to come get it first thing in the morning. He was SO helpful!!! Went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed, offered to take us to get groceries, and it was such a nice property we didn’t mind being “stuck” there until our van was repaired. Truly THE kindest and most attentive host imaginable, but without being intrusive whatsoever. Loved it!!

Pool and grill usage is nominally extra, just be aware. It’s not an unreasonable amount, and otherwise it is literally PERFECT so it’s not a problem and we will absolutely return!

할머니 모시고 부모님이랑 20대 딸 둘이 갔는데 전부 만족했습니다 우선은 숙소가 너무 깨끗하고 향도 좋구요 필요한 건 웬만하면 다 있어서 번거롭게 뭘 가져가지 않아도 됩니다 야외 수영장이랑 스파는 깨끗하게 잘 관리되어 있어서 좋았구요 특히 사장님 부부께서 너무 친절하셔서 기분이 더 좋았습니다 바로 앞에 바다도 보이고 뷰랑 시설 둘 다 잡은 숙소입니다 추천해요! 사진 열심히 찍었는데 왜 안 올라가는지 모르겠네요 ㅠㅠ

We booked this place on the basis that we will be renting a car but we had issues at the airport so ultimately couldn't rent a car. The location is very remote so please ensure you have a car. We had an amazing stay here. The hosts were incredibly generous, invited us for dinner on our first night, they even drove us around as we did not have a car. The host even drove us to the bus terminal to get tickets and then the next day dropped us off to catch the bus. Its a beautiful villa overlooking a busy shipping route so views are stunning at any time of the day or night. I would highly recommend this place.

We had booked the place for the pool but unfortunately as its still very cold, the pools were not operational. The host turned on the small hot water spa for us, we spent an entire afternoon just lounging in the sun and soaking in the spa :)

Great sun deck lots of space, but kitchen is small and not so user friendly for cooking. TV is large. Right in front of the sea super quiet.

풀, 스파 등 여름에 더욱 어울릴 곳으로 판단됨. 겨울은 추워서 수영 시설 활용이 안되어 다양성이 여름보다 낮음. 맑은 날씨라 저녁에 별보기, 바다 풍경, 해넘이 등 즐길거리 매우 양호. 사장님 추천 맛집 또한 매우 양호하였음.

Very bad experience. I booked a non-refundable (only option available) room with private pool for KRW 300.000. After payment, the owner asked for KRW 100.000 per night for usage of swimming pool. Excuse was the need for hot water, although outside temperature was Celsius 30 degree. This is unacceptable.
