Cloud City Hotel

I loved this place. It is an excellent hotel that I visited in Baha. It is beautiful and the staff are very helpful. I mostly went there for the coffee shop on the first floor and the rooftop restaurant on the fourth floor. The food was delicious and the restaurant staff were very courteous.

I spent one night here. I made an advanced booking via their website a few months earlier. When I arrived, the woman at reception was busy doing something and instructed me to wait. After waiting nearly 10 minutes, she called me forward, and then insisted that they had no booking for me. I showed her the confirmation email, but she did not seem to understand (her English skills were very limited). She called her manager, and they offered me a room at the advanced booking price. Of course, since they lost my reservation, she needed to ask for all of my information, and she struggled to understand my passport. Eventually she called someone else to help translate, and they finished checking me in. The room was fine. It was clean and quiet. The bed was a bit on the hard side. There was a call to prayer alarm clock which was apparently set to some other timezone, and woke me unexpectedly at 2am. Checkout went smoothly. I am not sure this was worth about US$140 for one night.
