Tongyeong Episode Guesthouse

Lovely small guest house in a quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay here and loved exploring Tongyeong. The guesthouse has everything you need - on-street parking, convenience stores and restaurants nearby, free breakfast every morning. Highly recommend!

Stay here if you want to feel like you’re staying at your extended family’s home. If there ever was a perfect host, Jaeron is that! Very friendly, and helpful and just an interesting person all around. When I visited it was a Korean holiday. So he even invited the guests to share Chuseok dinner with him on the porch. Location was great. Guesthouse was clean. I could use the kitchen to cook I was at home. Will be back!

I loved it so much that I added another night. The host is really friendly, helpful and it is a pleasure to have great conversation with him. He makes sure everybody feels welcome and get to know the other guests. It feels like home and is a great place to meet new people. Next time visiting Tongyeong I will come back, for sure.

The host was very amazing. He was very helpful with everything specifically the destinations I should visit, buses, time when the ferry leaves, literally everything. The place is so clean. Every would gather in the kitchen and have breakfast together, talk, and share experiences. It felt more of being with a family rather than staying in a guesthouse. It was very amazing place. In the morning we would go to our own different destinations, at night some would have dinner together, some would like to explore restaurants by theirselves, but at the end of the day, we would gather in the common area, talk, share snacks, share experiences, talk about our countries. It really is the best guesthouse Ive ever been to. Im a solo traveler and staying in this guesthouse was by far one of the best experience. The host would introduce the travelers with each other and thats how we get along with each other. Such an amazing experience really.

Jereon is the perfect host and knows everything there is to know about Tongyeong. He is very attentive and caring, and helps you with any trips/island visits you would like to do. Genuinely cares about his guests and that they enjoy their stay, I hope to be back one day!

Everything was great, the rooms are very clean, yummy breakfast and the best host you could have. The location was good too.

Very clean. Very friendly host. He’d introduce among the guests so the guests could know bit about each other and get along better. I like the lounge, sofa and tables which can accommodate a group of people, there’re also books. The location is good: about 20mins walk to luge/cable car, and undersea tunnel/bridge/canal which is good for night view.
