This is a special place. Every modern convenience in beautiful surroundings. Top quality. Excellent hosts. We were 3 generations from 30's to 80's and we loved it. Spotlessly clean. Warm welcome. Hot tub. Firepit. Wildlife. Comfort. Perfect.

We've just had the most incredible stay at Clare and Allick's stunning Muir estate! The setting is truly idyllic and peaceful - it was perfect for a special family who were visiting from Seattle. The lodge was beautifully appointed with everything we needed, from high-quality utensils and bedding to comfortable furniture. The cleanliness was spotless!

This was a family holiday including our 3 grandchildren, the first time we were all together as a family, Claire and Alick were indeed exceptional hosts meeting us at the property on arrival, the lodge was immaculate and provisions left were fabulous, the highlight was Alick taking us to feed the deer something that will remain as precious memories for us all, the whole experience was like nothing before, it was a fantastic experience for all of us cant wait to go back everything about this lodge is first class and would highly recommend missing it all so much, thanks again to our wonderful hosts.

The holiday was amazing from start to finish and we didn't want to leave. On arrival we were met by Alick and Claire for a quick tour round to show us the facilities and everything we needed to know for the stay. The lodge and surrounding area is stunning in the heart of the forest and deer in the field which we got to feed a couple of times. We still miss the morning view from the bedroom as you wake up. The lodge felt calm and spacious which was good for us as a family of adults and teenagers with everyone having there own space / room but also being able to sit together in the dining room or patio for meals together or play games. We used the Hot tub, Pizza oven and BBQ during our stay and the lodge was equipped well for all. It is a lovely secluded area but was only a 10 min drive to villages nearby where there are bars, cafes and some good shops too and not far from the Lochs. We hired a paddleboard one day so that we could all try it out. Altogether we made some great family memories and would definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing - all 10 of us loved it. Really well resourced with everything you would want or need. Claire was a great host who went out of her way to make sure we had a comfortable stay.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.
