Driftwood Haus

The bed was sagging in the middle so we rolled into each other. Plates,cups, saucepans were dirty. The toilet was leaking so the cistern was constantly refilling and was very noisey. The bathroom vanity waste was block with some indescribable stuff so it didn’t empty properly. No instructions for the heating system, after a phone call the staff member was able to talk us through how it worked.

We loved the kitchen. We cooked and ate to our heart's desire. The kitchen has everything you would need including a large dining table and plenty of counter space for preparation. The large kitchen table doubled as our games space in the evening. Charming old house with quirks of a crooked kitchen floor. Great location.The beds were very comfortable. The rooms tastefully decorated.

The house was charming. The floors could have been cleaned better. They seemed to have a lot of grit on them.... hey i guess that is part of beach life. The house still needs a little TLC but I feel like the owners are attentive and are doing a wonderful job with updates in the house. The blinds in upstairs front room don't quite cut the light from the street light so bring an eye mask if you need a darkened room. We didn't use the hot tub as the chlorine levels seemed to high. It was lovely to have the option of the private hot tub and outdoor space.The "tiki bar" was a pleasant little surprise! :)

Clean..love the fire pits..fire wood to purchase on sight…the opportunity to use the hot tub

Loved the commune type environment, promoted interaction with fellow vacationers. Used the clean and well maintained hot tub and the fire pit. Location was perfect, walkability to town, shopping & restaurants. The room was clean and very quaint and the garden lush with flowers and again well maintained. Close to beach and walked it and along pathway. Will definitely go again.

Only thing I would like to see done to room is new window coverings, shades need replacing in our unit. Small issue overall.

Great location, comfy double beds and good TV channels.

Cabin was not suitable to accommodate 5 people, limited bedroom space, sofa bed was uncomfortable and kitchen units/cooker dated. Cabin more suited to a family of four due to size

Nice quiet area, the property is but old but the area around is well maintained.
