Quality Inn near Mesa Verde

Great location

We were hearing people walking upstairs all night. AC was noisy and was randomly turning on and off even with the fan set to always on.

Tray full of cigarettes outside our door in a non smoking facility. Toilet would not flush and staff would not give us another room. I had to use the toilet in the office.

Buildings look old from the outside, inside of the rooms are clean and look more updated.

Front office staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. Only bright spot was kitchen staff named “grandma”was helpful and considerate

Our room was standard with fridge. We only stayed one night while visiting Mesa Verde National Park so we did not use most of the room. We were placed in a room at the top of the steps which was very noisy and the air did not seem to work well. The bathroom and shower had wonderful water pressure and was very clean. Breakfast was a nice surprise-sausage, bacon, eggs with cheese, bagels and the other other standards. Coffee shop next door and good restaurants nearby. (Thai Cortez and Burger Boy Drive In were both surprisingly good.)

Check in was okay. I was surprised that payment was expected at time of check in. Paid cash and discovered that credit etwas also charged. Manager corrected this before departure.

Breakfast was great, different everyday and the eggs were delicious. The staff was so helpful and nice. The facility is older but it was well maintained and a good value.

The AC units were pretty loud and could use updating.
