Peace & Quiet Hotel

The location - on a frozen lake with snowy forests around - was fantastic; it was very peaceful. And the room was lovely and warm and comfortable, even at -31 C outside. Pick up and transfer was very smooth, and we were very happy with the breakfast.

Nothing at all

Words can’t do it justice. Imagine to have dinner around a bonfire and the northern lights dancing above your head. Imagine to fall asleep staring at the green color sky. Imagine to wake up in a cozy and warm glass igloo surrounded by stunning snowy nature sipping coffee.

The cabin is situated on the frozen lake (literally!), has a perfect view, was very warm and clean. We were driven to the cabin in a snowmobile which was another experience in itself. Staying there was perfect for extraordinary one-night experience.

The cabin doesn't have a shower, which we were aware of but it's quite inconvenient. There are no electric sockets except for two USB ports (old type USB A), so we couldn't charge our laptops and iphones. There were no glasses and very few cups and cutlery. We experienced some issues with contacting the owner, during the stay we waited quite long for the answer through booking.com chat and he was not answering the phone.

This was a trip of a life time! Björn and the staff were AMAZING and took care of our needs. Make sure you book his excursions. We did snowmobiling, reindeer herding, ice dinners and cryotherapy. worth every cent! The hut/igloo was warm (much warmer than I expected and had basic facilities including wifi.

We LOVED everything. Somethings to know before you go.., this is HIGH END GLAMPING. There is no shower in the hut, the bathroom is small but very functional, there were no outlets, but we had USB ports to charge our cell phones and charger brinks.

The location of the cabin was secluded and private, a beautiful & peaceful spot. the cabin was warm and comfortable. Björn and his staff were all lovely, gracious hosts. An amazing experience!

Peace and quiet is the perfect name for this hotel, we trully were alone surrounded by beautiful nature! The room is cosy, comfortable and very smartly designed. We had a wonderful time, cooked ourselves dinner enjoyed the sound of rain on the glass for a while and then were lucky to have a nothern lights show. They were reflecting on the water, dancing in the sky with no light pollution. Björn is a great host and he provided us a delicious local breakfast. We really recommend the place and would love to come back.
