Eleanthi Modern Living

Everything about Eleanthi Modern Living is exceptional. We were told that if noone was available to greet us our keys would be in a lock box but we met with someone and it was all very easy. The rooms are fresh and clean, always, with beautiful sliding doors to a private patio. From ours on the ground floor we had a perfect view of the pool and bar. The pool is fabulous and bigger than the pictures indicated. We used the pool every day we were in the complex, which is small and private, and often had the pool to ourselves depending on the time of day. The bar servers drinks and food from morning to evening and I have to say anything we ordered was delicious. My son particularly liked the Club Sandwich. There are two shops on the street and restaurants on the beachfront, all very close and within an easy walk. Buses run along the seafront and we used buses to travel into Chania (the 21 bus) and to Agia Marina (one of the KTel buses - long buses). As with everyone we met in Crete, the Eleanthi Modern Living staff were amazing and so welcoming. We loved our stay and hating leaving. I can't recommend Eleanthi Modern Living highly enough. This is a beautiful venue run by wonderful people who took very good care of us while we were there. I look forward to returning one day.

Nice decorated and clean rooms, quiet neighborhood, near the beach. A few minutes from restaurants and convenient stores. We had an excellent time at the pool area!

The room was absolutely stunning and very clean. We enjoyed the flexible check in, the pool, and the friendly staff. It is in a fantastic location - a little bit out of town, but extremely accessible by frequent public transit, and had a great beach nearby! We would love to stay again and would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Chania.

The property is very well placed in Galatas. Two supermarkets very close by and a great choice of restauarants within walking distance. There are also decent beaches within walking distance but we preferred to drive to beaches a bit further away. We loved Liokalvyo on Falassarna. The outside area is lovely, pool is not the biggest but good for a cool off and good quality and comfortable loungers. Also some tables and chairs if you bring in a takeaway. Although there is a road there it's not visible from the pool as all the shrubs are grown up to offer privacy. The rooms looked exactly like the pictures, clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. Basic kitchen essentials, we only ever used it for hot drinks and breakfast and of course it's great to have the fridge/freezer. Nice little terrace with pretty alliums around to offer a bit of privacy. Everyone was very friendly and the place was peaceful. We really enjoyed our 7 nights here and thought it was great value for money.

it would have been great if the second bedroom had some drawers

Clean and fresh

The room a little bit moist, no ventilation except window/door. Also if you have room nr 1, it’s not that isolated so you will hear sounds from cars.
