avid hotel Auburn - University Area by IHG

This Avid Hotel does not have the room we booked. Booked two queen beds and paid upon booking online via IHG app. The reservation was non refundable as well. Got to the front desk, waited 20 minutes on the customer in front of me. I would have left but for the fact my reservation was non-refundable. Got the key card to the room. Didn’t work. IHG needs to audit this location.

The beds were soft and enjoyable. The walk in shower was nice but I didn't like the fact it took 20 minutes give or take for the water to get hot to take a shower! I did love the fact you could stream from your device to the TV. Have a nice size fridge also in the room but no microwave. The staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful

- Nähe zur Hauptstraße. Durch die schlecht gedämmten Fenster hat es sich so angehört, als wären diese offen, was wir besonders nachts als sehr störend empfanden. - Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig und durch den Fußboden hört man insbesondere von den Nachbarn darüber ziemlich viel. - Unten an der Rezeption stand ein Schild, dass aktuell viele Marienkäfer unterwegs sind. Hätten wir gerne vorher gewusst, denn im Zimmer wimmelte es nur so vor diesen. In der Masse fanden wir das irgendwann auch nicht mehr so toll, zumal sie sich über das ganze Zimmer verteilten. - Toilette war total wackelig

Great coffee, tea, hot chocolate 24 hours a day. Has breakfast here also. Everyone working was super friendly
